Comment: A$AP Rocky is going to get a lot of hate from heads on this website, but honestly this is a very good album. I really appreciate artists in the mainstream who try to do something different with their music that makes it stand out from the rest. A$AP isnt as lyrically tallented as a Kendrick Lamar, but he's really pushed the boundaries with this "purple schwag" personna and hard hitting beats. I think of this as Three-6 Mafia meets Dipset. Its fresh and unique for the mainstream in a time when so many people sound exactly the same (take the entire MMG movement). I know most heads wont agree with me here, but those that are open give this a listen, its a nice album to be able to rock in your collection. Long Live A$AP! |
