Akro always comes hard and takes no prisoners. | Name: Tim B. (Posted: 3/21/2008 7:23:00 PM; Partial IP: 00.163.197) Location: Tampa, Florida Comment: Average album from an above average emcee. The EP for me is still his best sh-t. I wasn't thrilled with the produciotn or the lyricism. I was kind of bored to be honest. | Name: JoRdAn-FaN (Posted: 3/4/2008 1:49:00 AM; Partial IP: 142.220.73) Location: LoS AnGeLeS Comment: Album is hot...Nutting but fire wen Akro Spitz... | Name: Ritchie (Posted: 3/2/2008 8:24:00 PM; Partial IP: 8.9.235.20) Location: CT Comment: If Souja Boy can put out a gold album, then this album by Akrobatik should go 4x Diamond +5. And to think what is taking up the air waves is what is ruining hip hop and setting a horrible foundation for new rappers. If there are new records like this, then I dont know what is going on in the radio stations, and especially the market. Akrobatik should be huge right now, but you can blame all that on them southern snap rappers. A+ for Akrobatik. | Name: Dfiant (Posted: 2/29/2008 10:39:00 PM; Partial IP: .193.5.132) Location: chicago Comment: early favorite for cd of the year! all the beats knock. fire lyrics. truth in hiphop. tracks 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, hell all of 'em are on blaze! this cat just went next level, and the mainstream probably still can't see him. peace to the underground. | Name: who the fuck iz i (Posted: 2/28/2008 1:40:00 PM; Partial IP: 161.39.251) Location: fucking hollandski Comment: two tumbs up for akro!!
shit iz bangin | Name: Micah Wolfe (Posted: 2/27/2008 2:47:00 AM; Partial IP: .35.101.37) Location: Seattle, WA Comment: Oh my goodness. Akrobatik may have single handedly brought hip-hop back to life. Call your radio stations make them play this album! | Name: Sympathy (Posted: 2/22/2008 3:55:00 PM; Partial IP: 4.9.65.194) Location: Freeport , Ny , USA Comment: It's a solid album. I think akrobatik is very underated artist. He doesnt get the respect he deserves. Good album. From start to finish. | Name: Trees (UGHH Staff) (Posted: 2/21/2008 4:08:00 PM; Partial IP: 199.48.175) Location: Boston, MA, USA Comment: It' A to the mufuggin K homeboy - AKROBATIK ! Back with the highly anticipated Absolute Value Between this and the Pete Rock - my downstairs neighbors hate me right now. Every beat has been carefully selected - every guest appearance comes completely correct, and the album doesn't really have any weak spots. I would definitely suggest picking this up, as it has the potential to be a serious 08 sleeper. Willie Evans Jr. and Therapy hold it down lovely on Track 8, the big homey JayCeeOh laces the cuts over the Dilla produced joint with Kweli, and Little Brother rock nicely alongside of Akro over some 9th Wonder beat mastery. I'm a definite fan of this joint - you will be too. |
