At first I couldn't tell what all the fuss was about, the beats didn't seem raw enough for OC and a little repeatitive. ....but I stuck with it mainly on the strength of the reviews on this site. Like a lot of lp's at the moment this one fizzles out towards the end but it is very current and a really good effort if not a classic. 5 stars handed out too cheaply these days |

The type of album made for vinyl that you can throw on and listen to from start to finish not like this disposable garbage from new rappers rhyming over dance beats. Hip hop is beats, rhymes and scratching. Saying otherwise is like saying rock isn't a guitar, bass & drums. The only thing that I would gripe about this album and it's a small one is no guest appearances. Would love a posse cut; it's like only ag, oc, show & finesse are working together. Would love to see Barbury'n (Milano, D-Flow & a new rapper Gage) get on. Would love to see Diamond get back in touch or some beats from Buckwild. |
