WHEN AOTP WAS FIVE MEMBERS, ESO, PAZ, VIRTUOSO, BAHAMADIA, CHIEF KAMACHI. TRACKS LIKE 'THE HUNTED' AND 'FIVE PERFECT EXERTIONS'. WAYY BACK IN LIKE THE 90'S VINYL 12" FOR THE REAL HEADS. BUT YOU CAN FIND THESE TRACKS ON MIXTAPES LIKE RARE SHIT COLLABOS AND FREESTYLES AND TOO MUCH POSSEE POSSEE POSSEE |

And I only really liked half the beats, many of them sounds like they've been heard a thousand times before, you feel me?
But besides of that, Vinnie Paz and Celph Titled bodied this whole album! sick lyrics all the way through.
My favorites gotta be "Bust Em In" , "Agony Fires" , "Spaz Out" & "Dead Shall Rise"
But ffs, that hook on "Burn You Alive" is fucking TERRIBLE, what were they thinking? AUTOTUNE???? Its a pity for my ears everytime I hear it, but the thing is that the rest of the track is flames...but that chorus SUCKS.
Tracks like "Drenched In Blood", & "44 Magnum" stinks like a pile of elefant shit!
"Cookin Keys" has great drums yeah, but the sampling/chopping sounds extremely boring and random. So fuck that beat.
That comes down to 3 stars, 1 for Vinnie Paz, 1 for Celph Titled and 1 for the 8-9 dope beats on it. |

The production ain't on the level of the Torture Papers and Ritual of Battle, and the lyrics still on point, always the same problem...to many vinny paz and to less for likes of Reef the Lost Cauze, Doap Nixon, King Magnetic...and why Cryp the Warchild appears only on 3 songs? Just a example, on Suplex, vinni's part is trully dissapointing, not beacause of the verse but because of is voice and is flow.Vinnie ain't no good for a slow beat...But that just my opinion.WORD |

The loss of Chief Kamachi is felt, he is one of the sickest song openers on the other albums. The addition of King Magnetic and Journalist was a nice move both are hot. Vinnie is better here than he is on Ritual but still not old school vinnie but he brings some heat. The albums strong points hit with "Bust Em In" a Celph Titled produced track thats straight fire. Cooking Keyes has ill production by Dj Kwestion followed by AOTPs most commercial sounding song yet "Burn You Alive". But you know what I really like it and I think its one of the top songs on the album with the other two I mentioned. The albums last track "The Ultimatum" is also a worthy mention.Though this album lacks some punch the other two had its still a great entry and so good it needs to be next to the other two in the collection. Cop it! |

There's still legions of fans that just want to hear fun, hardcore music. Sometimes you just want to vibe out, blast some shit while you're driving. Not everything has to be so "deep" and "political".. There's plenty other rappers that do that style if I wanted to feel all serious when I listened to music. When I listen to AOTP I just want to blast the music loud and be entertained by the mindless imagery and clever raps. Give it a try and stop being so stern about music. |

I actually wish jus was on more tracks. hes unique.like someone said this album is street heavy compared to torture papers, if you like hard beats and hard lyrics buy it. they need more reef and jus next time tho. celph and vinnie on showcase on this one. |

The loss of Chief Kamachi is replaced by King Magnetic and Journalist which both do well. Jus Allah is only on one song which most won't mind due to his new style. Vinnie Paz truly is the weakest on the album and hes on almost all songs. The album isn't on the level of Torture Papers or Ritual Of Battle but its close enough. More listens may change my opinion but its a solid release but not there best. |

Another thing that they need to be on point about is getting their products to the store they say its gonna be at. The Melatonin Magik album was supposed to be carried at Best Buy. So I went to my local BB (one of the most music oriented in the country located in S. Austin) and low and behold no Canibus. Made me want to burn that shit. I was FORCED to get it off Itunes....Bullshit

Necro is supposed to release his album this month and still hasn't put anything up for pre-order. Artist's need to realize that when they put a release date for records that we get all hyped up on this shit and count the days left before the album comes out, and when they delay it, it seriously kills our fucking will to even want to buy it! |
