Just because your some hipster who's afraid of change doesn't mean the younger cats shouldn't get a chance to enjoy this, or that the older folks shouldn't get a chance to re-enjoy a classic. You're just an old cranky conservative is what I'm getting at. |

Their second album was kinda nice also! To the bul that said they need to re-release that Real Live album I agree! I keep checking Amazon but the price stays around $35 or so. Still too rich for my blood. |

I actually still have the cassette single of Dynamite Soul. I found it in the sleeve for the e=MC2 single. For those looking for the Real Live album, hit me up, I'll upload for download. peace. |

I would have made it a double CD with instrumentals on disc 2 and I would add the following bonuses on disc 1
C'mon Wit Da Git Down (Buckwild Remix)
Who I Am
Dynamite Soul II (Lip Service Remix - Dirty)
Wrong Side Of Da Tracks (Original Version)
Check Da Fine Print w/ Brand Nubian (Unreleased)
Flexi Wit Da Technique (Original)
Nubian Crackers-Do You Wanna Hear It? |

I would love to hear it if it sounds as good as this classic album. Wonder why it wasn't included in this reissue. It would have made an excellent bonus track. I don't get record labels sometimes. I guess they figured not enough people purchased the single to even have heard the B-Side to it. Like I was mad when The Creator Remix wasn't on Pete Rock and CL Smooth's Mecca and the Soul Brother reissue. Excellent reissue. Well done except fot that song not being on it. Glad I still have my 12-inch because it's the B-Side to T.R.O.Y. single. Owe well. Guess I'll be hunting for the Dynamite Soul vinyl single so I can get that song. It's nothing new. I'm used to digging and searching. You can't count on record labels to reissue all the songs you liked. It pays to hold on to your old records and tapes. Hope you've still got yours. Peace! Not many people purchased the singles from this album and the Pete Rock and CL Smooth albums because they were so good. Once word got out that the albums were so hot, people didn't bother buying the singles anymore unless they were DJ's. Plus the singles to both these albums were put out after the albums were released. Word of mouth got around that the albums were hot so there was no need to get the single unless it had a remix that was popular. Back then people were very selective about what albums the bought because it wasn't like today where you can preview the whole album and only buy the songs you liked. Back then you had to make sure you were gonna get your money's worth and people didn't have money to be buying garbage albums with one or two good songs. |
