I don't mean to say that a song gets better the more depressing it is, but for anyone who wants to see just how far down slug can get, this is the album to check. This album has ant's weakest beats, but they get the job done. | Name: alex (Posted: 1/25/2008 10:42:00 AM; Partial IP: 72.10.97.4) Location: canton Comment: dopest album ever...props | Name: Rhymesayer4202 (Posted: 2/19/2003 6:30:00 PM) Summary: Slug Is The Man Comment: This album is sick! Slug is a lyrical genius and I will never get tired of listening to him rhyme. The beats, though, weren't as good as “Lucy Ford” but still pretty damn good. If you don’t have this disc then get it.

He is getting better with time and Ant really shined on the boards. Together they have created a meaningful, insightful and beautiful album full of gems.

Comment: “But I sure as hell do.” That's the first line of the album and I laugh every time I hear it because I don't see anything you can knock about Slug's rhyming style. I just got turned on to this album as well as the rest of the Rhymesayers crew, and I love what I've heard so far. Also, for a dope freestyle with Slug and Eyedea (also on Rhymesayers, winner of the HBO Blaze Battle) check out DJ Next's "Live at the Barbecue" mixtape.
| Name: Ramses the Deleterious (Posted: 11/11/2002 4:19:00 PM) Summary: Buy This Album. Comment: Now this is one great album! Of course Slug brings it with the masterful lyrics as usual and Ant's beats rip a very defined style- tight drum sounds and well chosen samples with a sense of minimalism that some people, obviously, can't handle. Good production quality, extremely fine style, and great lyrics. Definite must have for true heads! | Name: bigklow (Posted: 9/1/2002 1:27:00 PM) Summary: Slug On Point, Ant Off The Track! Comment: Slug breaks it down and paints his picture once again on GLU but he's backed by pretty boring beats with way too loud snares to be played in my headphones. | Name: plex mc (Posted: 8/7/2002 4:41:00 AM) Summary: Slug Needs A Shell Comment: Don't listen to this garbage. You'll be angry like me! | Name: NextWon (Posted: 7/23/2002 10:51:00 AM) Summary: "Slug Never Disappoints" Comment: This album is as good as any previous Atmosphere track, good beats, great lyrics. Slug is definitely in the top 5. Love to all Midwest artists. | Name: a big fan of breathing (Posted: 7/16/2002 9:25:00 PM) Summary: More Like Poetry... Comment: Slug is a lyrical genius... beats aren't as good on the CD as they were on Lucy or Overcast but altogether it’s sick. |
