Name: ProphetC (Posted: 8/13/2004 10:14:00 AM) Summary: Your Not Listening!!! This Track Is Illmatic!!! Comment: Ok I heard this song when it first came out, its almost a year old and its still bangin' to me. Paul I could say alot of things about you but thats not me, I don't want Beef!! I want Peace!! and so does Poet. Its A POSITIVE SONG or at least its supposed to be taken that way. Give it another listen and do the math cousin!!! ONE LOVE | Name: specialk (Posted: 3/13/2004 9:01:00 AM) Summary: Tearin It Up Comment: This is 50 Cent's song "How to Rob" with a better beat; he talks about numerous Beefs that some rappers have. | Name: mightyra (Posted: 1/17/2004 10:01:00 PM) Summary: Poet Is Not Dissing Anyone Comment: Poet is not dissing other rappers. What he was talking about in the song was about beefs between all the major artists in the game and how stupid it is looking, especially after 911. I would bang this to hammer home the point that the ones who are beefing on wax need to bring it to the battle arena or forever hold there piece. | Name: cnnoreaga (Posted: 12/26/2003 9:33:00 AM) Summary: Primo, Just Tell Us How Ya Do ? Comment: On the one hand you got Primo, the other one Poet. Just listen to this jewel, ya never regret. And if someone can send me the whole lyrics because I don't understand it all (because I'm French) but I know the essential things to hearing good stuff. | Name: DJ NYKLZ (Posted: 11/18/2003 11:23:00 AM) Summary: Are You Kidding Me??? Comment: This is one of the illest songs that I've ever heard in hip-hop. It has a good message and the production and lyrics are just dope. Listen to it and judge it for yourself. | Name: Brains Brawn (Posted: 11/13/2003 3:45:00 PM) Summary: Doing It.. Comment: These industry bashing tracks never get old to me..Blaq Poet deserves his spot..but it seems some emcees these days are getting put on solely because they've been rocking for ten years and deserve it...rather than skills. | Name: Paul (Posted: 11/3/2003 8:38:00 PM) Comment: A Message From Poet" showcases a Primo beat that is much doper than "Poet Has Come," yet is still a little underwhelming. Not that it's bad in any way, it just sounds a little too familiar. Blaq Poet ends up either dissin’ a slew of famous rappers, including Eminem, and you can look at this as a desperate cry for publicity or a sincere desire for a battle. The problem is that Blaq Poet, although decent, lacks much of a personality. This track is not bad, but not really great either. It's just kinda there. Die-hard Primo fans should give it a spin, but otherwise, you might not be missing too much. | Name: italiana16us (Posted: 11/2/2003 7:58:00 PM) Summary: The Real Deal Comment: He's right, Mc's have forgotten about how Pac and BIG used to do it up. Primo hooked him up with the beat too. Excellent combination. | Name: Prodigal85 (Posted: 10/30/2003 11:12:00 AM) Summary: Nice Comment: Don't know who Blaq Poet is but he's not bad. Like the way he talks about the battles and commercial rappers. Also Primo hooks him up with a simple, but hot beat. | Name: MeNaCe666 (Posted: 10/29/2003 5:54:00 PM) Summary: Ill Beat Yet Bad Rhymes Comment: I heard about Blaq Poet in Rap City, The Basement. Premier providing the ill beat, yet Blaq's desire to be skilled isn't working yet, but he is still good though. | Name: mecbar (Posted: 10/29/2003 12:26:00 PM) Summary: What A Combo Comment: I love what Primo does. He takes talent like Poet & MOP and makes them great with his sonic backdrops. Poet has been raw for 15+ years. He has been due to put out material like this. Dope. | Name: preston maddox III (Posted: 10/28/2003 10:52:00 PM) Summary: Truer Words Have Never Been Spoken Comment: Poets right, these big time rap dudes get some money and wanna start beefin' or start beefin' to GET money, and the sh*t's gettin old. And with Primo on the boards, how can you go wrong? Big up to Primo, Poet and the whole Gang Starr family. |
