Comment: Poet is not dissing other rappers. What he was talking about in the song was about beefs between all the major artists in the game and how stupid it is looking, especially after 911. I would bang this to hammer home the point that the ones who are beefing on wax need to bring it to the battle arena or forever hold there piece. |

Comment: A Message From Poet" showcases a Primo beat that is much doper than "Poet Has Come," yet is still a little underwhelming. Not that it's bad in any way, it just sounds a little too familiar. Blaq Poet ends up either dissin’ a slew of famous rappers, including Eminem, and you can look at this as a desperate cry for publicity or a sincere desire for a battle. The problem is that Blaq Poet, although decent, lacks much of a personality. This track is not bad, but not really great either. It's just kinda there. Die-hard Primo fans should give it a spin, but otherwise, you might not be missing too much. |
