Comment: Deux Process (members Shawn Dub, Vise Versa and Chief Nek) bring Colorado hip-hop via Los Angeles. The L.A. underground scene has always been consistent (see Dilated Peoples, Jurassic 5, Ugly Duckling, P.U.T.S., Styles of Beyond, etc. for proof) and Deux Process are mature lyrically and beat-wise to rock with the best. A nice beat ala Just Blaze but with more underground umph to it, Vise Versa proves that he got beats other artists should be aware of. A well-rounded record with the simple formula of quality production and solid vocals. Don’t sleep on Deux Process. |
