Name: Chris McCaffrey (Posted: 7/18/2005 9:01:00 PM) Summary: You Can't Clone Something Like This! Comment: Right On, manicdopepresence! I was wondering why Pep and Planet Asia sounded so weird. I'm kidding, but honestly, this is some ser'ous ish right here. I'm a little sad to see that it wasn't DJ Chrome himself rapping, but Blabwonda brings it on the track sincerely. This is my favorite song coming from across the pond (I just found out that Chrome was from Germany) next to Join the Dots by Roots Manuva (UK all day). Oh, and the Dexter's Laboratory sample in the third verse kills me. | Name: manicdopepresence (Posted: 4/15/2005 2:18:00 AM) Summary: Dope Comment: i still like this track, but I noticed this is incorrectly labelled with pep love & asia when its blabwonda mentioned above who's doing the rhyming on this track. pep & asia rock the b-side. or other side.. whatever, this track wins. | Name: Pat (Posted: 12/6/2002 2:51:00 PM) Summary: Germany Hits Again Comment: To all those who don't know: this kid DJ Chrome is comin' straight outta Munich, Germany. This 12" got out early last summer out here in Europe. He has a new 12" out with Blabwonda, an MC originally from the US now residing in Munich. The MC’s crew goes by the name of Abstract Art and will have an album out quite soon. Dope beats and dope rhymes. | Name: PhobikONE503 (Posted: 11/19/2002 2:44:00 AM) Summary: 2 Of The Dopest Comment: The beat is simply nice, both pleasing to the ears and can get head nods. Nicely done sampled hook too; Chrome gets mad respects from me. Pep and Asia are so dope this could be the new Cali Agents duo. They rhyme so nicely and reflect the shine from each other. Incredible track done so well so don’t sleep. | Name: Enoch The Dreadnaught (Posted: 11/18/2002 7:23:00 PM) Comment: While we're all sitting around waiting for the clone wars, this song will have to suffice. And suffice it does. This beat is pure buttery goodness. I've never heard of DJ Chrome before now but if this is any indication I'll be flying an airplane trailing a banner with his name on it. The MC is pretty dope too, whoever it is. As a bonus, this song has nothing to do with Star Wars as the title may suggest. Sit down with a soda and give it a listen. |
