Comment: Japanese DJ/producer, DJ Honda, teams with Perish Smith (one half of EPMD) for an overseas album aptly called the “Underground Connection.” The lead track "Constant Elevation" is almost a throwback to the "Headbanger" days, circa 1991. The driving production is shot down by a mediocre performance on behalf of PMD. After a weak solo stint in 1996, this track proves once more that any imitation of the EPMD anesthetic is empty without Erick Sermon on the boards. |

Comment: PMD needs to make a new solo! DJ Honda is a tight producer and needs “H3” to hit shelves in the U.S. Either way, this track has a nice flow to it. |
