Name: shk666 (Posted: 4/17/2003 2:58:00 AM) Summary: Living Off The Hype Comment: Man, Souls are cool, but this isn't the DJ Hype I think everyone would like to have them work with. This Hype guy is living off Hype. Nice beats but common; I'm sure the breakbeat jungle DJ Hype would like to produce some hip-hop (that is where his music comes from right?!) And it would make it sound new and cool and not so been there, heard that like this is now. Will the real DJ Hype please stand up and kick this fake assí butt.
Name: JAZ:72 (Posted: 4/15/2003 12:32:00 AM) Summary: Who Has Used That Damn Loop Before? Comment: Dope! DJ Hype ( from Germany NOT the drum ní bass one) takes the Souls "back to 1973" with sinister strings, head nodding drums, and a little bongos thrown in the mix. Souls of Mischief sound hungry again and DJ Hype becomes a name to watch for.
Name: manatarms (Posted: 4/2/2003 5:37:00 PM) Summary: Yeah Yeah Comment: Sick beat, good cut. A Well rounded A+ comes off tight. Worth a pretty penny. Real hip hop.
Name: seangotti (Posted: 3/30/2003 9:03:00 PM) Summary: Love Dat Beat Comment: I'm feeling this and I donít fuck with the Hiero crew. The flows are dope and this beat is crazy. I want to hear this instrumental in the Audio section because itís nasty.
Name: birdee (Posted: 3/18/2003 4:00:00 PM) Summary: Speechless Comment: Definitely a serious-ass joint. I thought Hiero lost it for a second but they sure as hell proved me wrong. It kind of reminds me of some old Wu, the REALLY old Wu. Support these hip hop veterans, people. Ain't too many cats that can still drop shit this fresh & heavy after so many years. Young MC's take notes.
Name: Hanus (Posted: 3/16/2003 10:27:00 PM) Comment: Why is it that all newer Hiero crew releases are slept on by the majority? Cats need to support these hip-hop veterans. I only know a few heads who picked up the latest Del cut. With that said this 12" is off the hook! The Souls come really hard on this one kickin' some wicked flows. The production is handled by DJ Hype and damn is it dope. I am very impressed with this track and I recommend it to anyone. So grab your wallet and come on over to the on-line store for your Hiero fix.
Name: 7th_Samurai (Posted: 3/16/2003 4:21:00 AM) Summary: The Beat Switches A Lot - Dope! Comment: DJ Hype drops a mad beat, the beat switches from a violent beat to a deeper beat. Souls of Mischief spit some decent lyrics as well.
