Comment: DJ Serious has put out a handful of 12"'s that seem to go unnoticed. This is quite sad since his work as a DJ and producer is above average for the most part. "Unknown Misery" seems to be the theme for the guest MC, and Serious' dark, moody production fits Unknown's tales of violence, crime, and other harsh topics. While it might sound a little reminiscent of GZA's "Cold World," it's still not bad and grows on you as it progresses. Serious is someone to get acquanted with if you haven't already heard his work. This track might not be a bad place to start. |
