They're NICE as solo artist but when they're together, it's SOMETHING ELSE!! | Name: Marcus (Posted: 2/12/2008 9:06:00 AM; Partial IP: .17.66.134) Location: Rio de Janeiro-Brasil Comment: Its Just the real HIPHOP! One Love from Rio´s Underground | Name: ima"hip"hopper (Posted: 8/14/2003 3:30:00 AM) Summary: Go Thes! Go Double K! Comment: Thes 1 and Double K are here to save sub-culture Hip-Hop!

Give up props for DJ Yoda. | Name: Pat (Posted: 12/6/2002 3:07:00 PM) Summary: Fatlace Comment: DJ Yoda's been out on the UK hip hop tip for years. He's part of the staff of the legendary Fatlace Magazine and a resident at "Spread Love", the biggest regular indie hip hop event in London. The beat is real smooth and a nice background for PUTS who, through their open minds, are the perfect MCs to fit DJ Yoda. | Name: smudge (Posted: 12/2/2002 3:55:00 PM) Summary: Yoda Comment: I like this track, and being from the UK, I am very familiar with DJ Yoda. He writes a spot in Hip-Hop Connections and is a pure genius. This track is from his second “How to Cut and Paste” album which comes highly recommended. Although I haven't got his second “How to...…” his first one is absolutely hilarious. If you haven't heard of him it’s your loss cuz he’s coming straight from hip-hop Utopia!
| Name: Paul (Posted: 11/20/2002 10:18:00 PM) Comment: Never heard of DJ Yoda, but he does have the PUTS to back him up. I don't care what anyone says, PUTS are responsible for some of the best hip-hop in the past few years. Although they are much better producers than MC's, their rhymes are very good regardless. And Yoda's drops an excellent jazz-fueled beat reminiscent of the PUTS style. The pianos are great and the samples on the hook are fantastic. I am really, really feeling "Quid Control." You should too. Any questions? |
