Comment: Personally, this beat got me. I was impressed by the flow too. Both elements combined to make a track that I'll actually listen to numerous times, unlike a number of tracks I've peeped on this page.

Comment: I can honestly say that it is tracks like this that make me extremely proud of the Canadian hip-hop scene. DL Incognito -the founder of Nine Planets Hip-Hop- is arguably one of the most slept on artists in the country presently. The product of an incredibly chill beat (produced by Techtwelve), smooth-flowing no-BS lyrics, and incredible scratching; “Rugged Raw” makes it clear that Canadians most definitely stand our ground when it comes to hip-hop. DJs, be sure to pick up the 'Spit Forever 2/ Audio Coke/ Rugged Raw' 12" vinyl single at the online store. In fact, buy 10 copies. Pass them on to your children, and their children's children too. |
