Name: the wiz (Posted: 5/22/2005 4:40:00 AM) Summary: Hot Beat, Average Lyrics Comment: 9th Wonder Ya'll! What more can I say. Son is fire on the boards and I think he is one of the best producers out right now. Much respect to Dynas to, but this is 9th right here. | Name: djplanet (Posted: 2/7/2005 12:47:00 AM) Summary: Solid Comment: 9th Wonder has a knack of creating some of the more interesting beats you'll ever hear. All of which contain that signature formula of thick bass lines and punchy drums over some kind of melodic sample. I also found Dynas enjoyable as an MC, but I just felt that 9th Wonder should have used a different beat for this one. The vocal sample in the track seems to get in the way of Dynas flow. Which is more of a distraction for me than anything else. Still the production is nice and Dynas sounds good. Worth checking out. | Name: BigDre (Posted: 1/14/2005 10:11:00 PM) Summary: This Is A Must Have! Comment: 9th came through with this joint. Dynas is cool, but would like to hear Talib Kweli spit over this beat. | Name: kane_x20 (Posted: 12/16/2004 1:44:00 PM) Summary: Underground Hottness!!! Comment: I'm feeling this song from Dynas. He kinda reminds me of Sadat X. What more can I say other than I have been feeling 9th Wonder since Jay-Z's "Threats". So what if the beat was used for Prodigy? It fits Dynas like a glove. And the hook is hellasweet. | Name: Paul (Posted: 12/6/2004 10:03:00 AM) Comment: Blame 9th Wonder for giving "Blame Game" a tight beat. Falling somewhere between Kayne West and Jay-Dee, the unintelligible vocal sample and over-the-top horns and strings are a nice touch, recalling some of the work the Alchemist was making a few years ago. Dynas is an alright MC, possessing a nice flow and some decent how-I-got-here rhymes. And the hook is rather catchy, avoiding the usual post-verse filler pitfall. This one has enough appeal for both underground and mainstream fans, so no matter what your taste, give it a listen. | Name: Trees (UGHH Staff) (Posted: 12/5/2004 9:40:00 PM) Location: Boston, MA, USA Summary: Decent Song.. Comment: 9th delivers correctly. I wonder if Dynas thought he was getting an original 9th beat.. cause I heard this shit like 2 years ago on a 9th Wonder remix of Prodigy's 'Keep it Thoro'. Not bad though. Check it. |
