Comment: Wow this track is great. The beat is beautiful (very familiar sounding), and E-Dot is a great lyricist and with Ill Bill on the track you can't go wrong. Comment: Uncle Howie Records is ready to score another point with its upcoming CD from E-Dot. This is the first single and it's pretty good. Supported by Ill Bill and Breez Evahflowin, E-Dot brings the perfect mix of gritty rhymes and blended flow on an obsessing carillon beat. The vocal intersection between the three mc's is good and even if they got their own distinctive flow, a uniform sound is recognizable. Definitely there's nothing really sophisticated on this 12'' but it's a pleasant listening that introduces an interesting new rapper in the underground scene. |

Comment: You can always expect something tight from Uncle Howie releases. This is my first time hearing E-Dot and I definitely like what he's bringing. Ill Bill and Breez kill it as usual. The track has a mid to late 90's feel to it-you can't go wrong with a tight piano loop. A breathe of fresh air for any real hip hop head. Like the hook too. Sounds like some sh!t I would write. |
