Comment: I’d like to call “Boston” a wet dream. Simply because the combination of Roxbury’s finest, EDO. G, and Pete Rock will have you tossin’ nuts. Two of the golden-era’s kingpins link up on this joint and hit you with a diaper-worthy cut. Off of the EDO/Pete Rock album, My Own Worst Enemy, comes “Boston,” a joint clearly focusing on Ed’s homebase and his dabblings in the streets of the Bean. The Soul Brother #1 blesses the beat nicely with the fine guitar pluckings backed with a streaming bassline. After listening to this cut, dampness may ensue, but that’s just ‘cause this joint will send old school nostaljacks into nocturnal emissions. EDO definitely sounds fresh here, and after you peep the single make sure to peep the long-player. |
