Comment: Emanon is dope, but “Emcees Like Me” doesn’t do him any justice. Although he smacks bars with vigor and carefully placed syntax, the beat holds him back. Despite some of the beat’s bounce it lacks the ebullient grip to hold Em’s debonair steez. Not to say that this track sucks like a corner ho, but merely isn’t up to his par. |
