Ev has no flow, can barely hold his schemes together and seems desperate for material to the point of dissing a little kid. The lack of Rakaa on the track is also conspicuous, suggests he either didn't have the heart or the bars to challenge Em.
Not an Eminem fan, but this is a whimper of a diss. | Name: Smiley (Posted: 2/23/2011 6:16:00 PM; Partial IP: 1.106.73.7) Location: LA, California Comment: The only rap battle where the opponent was knocked out with the title alone...Think about it. There didn't even have to be a rap....Babu would have knocked him out on his own! | Name: saguaro (Posted: 2/3/2011 9:31:00 AM; Partial IP: 60.173.151) Location: Phoenix,US Comment: M&M just got maliciously, lyrically murdered, vicious columbian-necktie lyrics. Evidence has one of the most creative rhymes and metaphors, while alchemist has the dopest beats. Plus don't forget Dialated Peoples use vocals not auto-tune, and real fire beats similar to a Sade or Sick Jacken song. | Name: roots_unknown (Posted: 1/13/2004 5:34:00 PM) Summary: Ev Serves Up Some True Hip Hop Comment: Evidence shows in this track that you don't have to threaten death to lyrically stab the opposing side... Cause with the phrases he lashed out.. no wonder Em got all but hurt on the Obie Trice LP. | Name: Volume1 (Posted: 1/1/2004 2:44:00 AM) Summary: Evidence Wins By Alot Comment: This is a good track, Babu killed the pop princess as did Evidence, My fav cut was the: "Hi" "B*tch shut the f*ck up" I shot myself laughing. Great stuff. | Name: djlutchi20 (Posted: 12/3/2003 11:31:00 AM) Summary: Ev Servin Emenims On A Platter Comment: "Blonde fag/took my kindess for a weakness.." Ouch! Ev servin Em up some lyrical back lash to the 10th degree. Evidence truly shows his lyrical roots and talent here. Real Dilated skillz at its finest. | Name: fluence1986 (Posted: 10/15/2003 3:02:00 PM) Summary: They Killed It!!!!!!!!!!! Comment: Dilated just kill it. I wasn't expecting such a good come back from Ev. Dont get me wrong, I've got mad respect for Dilated, but seriously who has been able to answer any of Eminem's disses...no one....up until now. Ev really smacks Mathers up on this one and Babu rips the multi platinum rapper to shreds with his incredibly dope scratches. Nuff said!!! The battle is won. | Name: joshchico (Posted: 4/3/2003 8:59:00 PM) Summary: Staff Review Is Way Off!!! Comment: Evidence shows that he's the best comp to date (along with Royce) for Eminem! Babu tears Marshall a new one!
| Name: Shay Boogs (Posted: 10/19/2002 3:24:00 PM) Comment: Haha... Evidence called Eminem a "fake ChinoXL". That's just one of the many lines that got a chuckle out of me on "Searching For Bobby Fisher", Evidence's retort to Eminem dissing him. Overall the song is just decent. Kutmasta Kurt lays a real dope beat and Babu tears Slim Shady to pieces on the cut, but Evidence didn't come as hard as I thought he would. Granted he spoke about things such as Eminem not being from Detroit, having a George Michael haircut, being impotent, and taking it in the butt from his pops, but I was hoping for stronger shots. Not wack by any means, but certainly not as hot as it could have been. Babu, though, gets an A+ for breaking Marshall Mathers down at the end. | Name: Lyrikally Infinite (Posted: 10/16/2002 2:50:00 AM) Summary: Evidence - 'search 4 Bobby Fisher' Comment: Originally spit outta the mouth of Evidence from Dilated Peoples. “Diss my crew? Yo, you won't go far/ The truth is I'm about as much from Detroit as you are.” Raw! He gunned Eminem on all aspects without a doubt. It's sort of like Nas when he gunned Gay-Z, so no further comments. | Name: concise (Posted: 9/28/2002 6:49:00 PM) Summary: Ev Got Battle Skillz Comment: Evidence came with it in this joint against Eminem. Em used to be considered a real head until Ev pointed out that he's nowhere near as good as he was in 98. Anyways, this ish is straight ill! |
