Name: Jae Woods (Posted: 8/24/2005 11:26:00 PM) Summary: Don't You Ever Forget.. Comment: Hieroglyphics has been the truth since they started way back in '91. This is just proof of that. A classic from "3rd Eye Vision", "Oakland Blackouts" is the true example of a hot track. Del and Opio show there skills over a beat that still blows my mind. This is one of those songs that I will never be tired of. A true classic. | Name: Chris McCaffrey (Posted: 7/18/2005 6:17:00 PM) Summary: Oakland Blackouts: It Could Be Fatal... Comment: I found out 'bout Hiero from NBA 2K5. When I found this site and typed the group in the search engine, I saw this song and listened to it. This is the reason that Hieroglyphics is one of my favorite underground groups. The song is raw from the title to the beat to the fact that Opio and Del kill. Matter fact, the hook is my new motto. | Name: pusher/prophet (Posted: 3/17/2004 2:43:00 AM) Summary: Lyrics So Good They Hurt My Mom Comment: This song is one of my favorites Hiero ever did. I love "Hoe", Opio takes the Tarantino reference for few lines, not just throwing in pop culture for the hell of it. As usual, Del is good. | Name: LVD-lanvandam (Posted: 1/14/2004 1:10:00 AM) Summary: Too Good Comment: Del and Opio being the sickest from Hiero. IMO, this has to be one of the best songs Hiero's ever produced. | Name: BayAreaBeat (Posted: 3/18/2003 9:24:00 PM) Summary: Gets You Pumped Up To Chill Comment: I love this song, the beat is phat and the Hiero crew complements it perfectly. A really laid-back song but it also gets you excited. Walks the fine line of chill and stimulating. | Name: Cram (Posted: 10/19/2002 3:23:00 PM) Comment: This Hiero track features the slicing lyrics of Opio and the creative rhymes of the Funky Homosapien himself, Del. The two complement each other over this mystical beat for a tight track. Personally, this is one of my favorite tracks on Hiero's album entitled, ‘3rd Eye Vision’. Opio and Del take turns on this chorus that works so well with the track: "Don't you ever forget, it could be fatal/ Wait'll Del come back out, and act out emotions in Oakland Blackouts." | Name: doubles (Posted: 4/25/2002 2:34:00 AM) Summary: This Will Get Anybody's Pulse Beatin Comment: Amazing beat- Great lyrics. Keeping it true Cali style. |
