Summary: Don't You Ever Forget..
Comment: Hieroglyphics has been the truth since they started way back in '91. This is just proof of that. A classic from "3rd Eye Vision", "Oakland Blackouts" is the true example of a hot track. Del and Opio show there skills over a beat that still blows my mind. This is one of those songs that I will never be tired of. A true classic. |

Comment: I found out 'bout Hiero from NBA 2K5. When I found this site and typed the group in the search engine, I saw this song and listened to it. This is the reason that Hieroglyphics is one of my favorite underground groups. The song is raw from the title to the beat to the fact that Opio and Del kill. Matter fact, the hook is my new motto. |

Comment: This Hiero track features the slicing lyrics of Opio and the creative rhymes of the Funky Homosapien himself, Del. The two complement each other over this mystical beat for a tight track. Personally, this is one of my favorite tracks on Hiero's album entitled, ‘3rd Eye Vision’. Opio and Del take turns on this chorus that works so well with the track: "Don't you ever forget, it could be fatal/ Wait'll Del come back out, and act out emotions in Oakland Blackouts." |
