Name: Age (Posted: 3/3/2004 9:54:00 AM) Summary: One For The Decade Comment: A great song and smooth orchrestra going on. On the Jedi CD this was a hidden track but it's certainly my favorite on the album. |
Name: solidrock (Posted: 11/9/2003 8:08:00 PM) Summary: The F**kin Legend! Comment: Stoupe's production is amazing. Kool G Rap drops the dopest verse on the CD. Vinnie Paz spits his best stuff in awhile although I don't like his anti-Christian sentiment. To hear something even more insane than this, cop the single and peep the Micky Ward remix. |
Name: urb420 (Posted: 11/9/2003 3:21:00 PM) Summary: Fire Comment: The beat is ill. Kool G starts it off lovely, but then get out the f*ckin way! Vinnie Paz kills it. Vinnie is one of the illest emcees out today. |
Name: MistaMilla (Posted: 10/21/2003 8:55:00 AM) Summary: Bangin ! Comment: Stoupe is f*ckin awesome mate, this beat is proper sick! Kool G Rap is invited to take part and starts the battle in fiery fashion, but Vinnie just kills it. The mush sounds likes he’s been caged up in Saughton for a decade, classic Jedi Mind, click the sh*t shafto! |

Name: PwrGetter (Posted: 7/30/2003 4:43:00 AM) Summary: Stoupe Is The Best... Comment: Man, Stoupe is one of the dopest producers out right now. He has hella skill with orchestral samples on the hard beats. The lyrics are pretty dope too.

Name: LORD XAL (Posted: 3/15/2003 2:57:00 PM) Summary: Bust A Muthaf***ing Gat To This Comment: When I heard the beat start I was instantly hooked. I was a little worried how it would turn out since the instrumental sounds like straight up Mozart ha! But Stoupe is one of the illest producers out there and damn, Stoupe set this track on fire. Kool G Rap spits more fuel into the fire with his ill flow and excellent delivery. Just when you think "How is Vinnie gonna compare to that?" Vinnie drops a bomb on you. He gets you hype from the beginning of the verse with "Bust a muthaf***ing gat to this" and keeps spittin' flames including "I'm from a time where every song was righteous / Before rap was just a swarm of white kids." Straight illness. This new JMT album is going to be off the richter. The great thing about this joint is underground and mainstream heads alike will wanna bump this banger in the whips. |
Name: syllabusta (Posted: 3/11/2003 6:44:00 PM) Summary: Just Sick Comment: Stoupe produced an ill symphony beat. Vinnie straight blessed the track and Kool G laced it. |
Name: TGODD (Posted: 3/10/2003 12:07:00 AM) Summary: I Gotta Admit It Comment: Even though I've gone into every JMT song that came out after Ikon changed his name (and voice) with hating phasers locked and loaded, this track is nice just like Heavenly Divine and I Against I. I'm still waiting for them to slip up. This beat is crazy, sort of like Cormega's ‘Get Out My Way’. The track almost has commercial appeal, notice the "Yeah Nigga" from G Rap at the start, but it's still good. |
Name: Knowledge (Posted: 3/8/2003 4:43:00 PM) Comment: Kool G Rap gets this track off and running and it doesn’t look back. The beat is straight fire and this collabo works nicely for Jedi Mind Tricks. This one pulls no punches with exceptional lyricism all the way around, combined with the fact that it’s a crowd-pleaser and is just easy for anyone to appreciate; so lets not get too intricate into it. |
Name: DJ Six Speed (Posted: 3/4/2003 8:02:00 AM) Summary: Heat Comment: Jedi Mind Tricks bringin the heat again! |
Name: D.L.C. (Posted: 3/2/2003 1:20:00 AM) Summary: Take Notice, Young Producers. Comment: Jedi Mind Tricks have been one of the hip-hop industry's most criminally slept-on acts. Producer Stoupe and MC Vinnie Paz (minus former member Jus Allah who isn't missed) have been putting in work for years now. Featuring a dope feature from Juice Crew legend, Kool G Rap, this is a extremely dope song. Stoupe's operatic production works well with the thug stylings of G and Vinnie. Cop this record and watch the floor get amped. |
Name: $DEAGLE$ (Posted: 3/1/2003 2:11:00 PM) Summary: Jedi Mind Continues Keeping It Real Comment: This song is the latest example of Jedi Mind Tricks pushing the barrier of underground hip-hop. The beat in the song is so chill, and the classical music mixed in sounds tight as hell.
