Comment: New J5? Joy! "Verbal Gunfight" is some solid, if typical, material from the fantastic sextet. The beat has some sort of corny keys and other background touches, but a funky guitar line and phat drum beat work like a charm. And if you still hate J5's feel good party/battle rhymes and harmonizing choruses, lighten up. I like a group who likes to switch things up a bit and keep hip-hop fun. Give this a spin or two. |
