Summary: J5 Never Let Me Down.
Comment: It’s evident that Jurassic 5 are the closest thing to Run DMC or any other hip hop classic super groups of the past. Songs like 'What's Golden' only solidify their rankings amongst these groups. I can’t even imagine where the group goes from here. All I know is that I’ll be listening and wondering how better they can get. |

Comment: Jurassic 5 prove they ain’t yet extinct, with a new single from their upcoming album “Power in Numbers.” It ain’t vintage J5 but who can deny the group’s production values. DJ Nu-Mark cooks up another feast scratching a dope Public Enemy sample, which rips into the track’s hook, “On a stage I rage and I’m rollin.” Marc 7 yet again exhorts his lyrical presence with gems like, “Melancholy mundane so I tame a hot flame/Big rings, fat chains, and y’all quest for the same.” Buy this! |

Comment: This song is so dope that they play it on alternative rock stations. This is a must have! The beat Nu-Mark provides proves that he's on a come-up with production. The lyrics are very catchy and the hook was well done to play the role of a main idea, "We holdin’ on to what’s golden." That is the roots of this shit! |

Comment: I think this was a great choice for the first single off the forthcoming album, “Power in Numbers.” DJ Nu-Mark outdoes himself with a heart thumping beat that will have usual stiffs bobbing there heads. J-5 is on some more new school stuff this time around, but they still deliver with the same impact, if not more than before. |
