I have never heard anything like this before or since never. Grimm's account of his trials and tribulations takes the listener on a sad lonely journey. Although MF Grimm will never walk again, he stands tall above the industry on this song. | Name: Dunesniper (Posted: 7/22/2004 3:07:00 PM) Summary: Fan-f*ckin-tastic Comment: First time I'm hearing this today. This song is too perfect for words. Incredible beat, dope lyrics and content that hits you right in the heart whether you've experienced this kind of heartbreak or not. I love this track. | Name: aceyalonestarks (Posted: 9/2/2003 11:06:00 AM) Summary: With Scars Come Memories Comment: This song is like a twisted dream that you have when you've lost somebody close. Not getting too far into it, I can honestly say that this is another track that should be thought of when thinking of Grimm. | Name: hanus (Posted: 1/31/2003 2:16:00 PM) Summary: Real Comment: M.F. Grimm has not had an easy life. This song depicts that. After being shot 10 times and paralyzed from the waste down Grimm is a survivor. He was blind and could not move or talk at one point. This song is deep and real.

Grimm's nearly Six-minute epic resides over a perfectly filtered pattern that proudly stands in the background. This is one of the most touching cuts I've ever heard and conveys to the Hip-hop listener, the same depth and feeling of that the Blues gave to our parents. Grimm truly has broken ground here with his ultimate concept. This 12" is without a doubt a must-have. |
