Comment: M.F. Grimm has not had an easy life. This song depicts that. After being shot 10 times and paralyzed from the waste down Grimm is a survivor. He was blind and could not move or talk at one point. This song is deep and real.

Comment: A perfect Yang to the Ying of the flipside, "Scars & Memories" is nothing short of breath taking. Grimm's nearly Six-minute epic resides over a perfectly filtered pattern that proudly stands in the background. This is one of the most touching cuts I've ever heard and conveys to the Hip-hop listener, the same depth and feeling of that the Blues gave to our parents. Grimm truly has broken ground here with his ultimate concept. This 12" is without a doubt a must-have. |
