Comment: In case you've been sleeping on the hyphy movement, here's one you're missing: The Pack, a group of skateboarding hip-hop fiends who met in high school, made an anthem for their favorite slip-on sneakers: Vans. Yeah, it's a really simple beat, overloaded with bass and the lyrics aren't going to win anyone a Pulitzer Prize, but make no mistake: THIS TRACK BANGS FROM START TO FINISH. It's a great introduction to the Yay Area hyphy scene if you're not ready to accept E-40 just yet. |
