Name: Alyeskan (Posted: 8/5/2004 2:16:00 PM) Summary: Great Play On Lyrics Comment: The poetry really stands out in this one. Monch has a way of working words into art that really makes you think. This talent combined with his intellect and style makes for what I consider to be real underground hip-hop. |
Name: absente (Posted: 12/14/2003 5:34:00 PM) Summary: I Like The Beat! Comment: Everyone is saying that the song is good except for the horrible beat but I like it for some reason. It sounds like it came right off a keyboard, but I didn't mind. |
Name: Soljasun79 (Posted: 11/9/2003 6:33:00 PM) Summary: To Quote Hip Hop Artists, pitch Black, Comment: Classic Pharoahe formula with that great wordplay. Can't wait for the album to drop. |
Name: F5THC (Posted: 10/24/2003 8:17:00 PM) Summary: Anarchy Comment: Pharoahe is definitely one of the most knowledgeable MCs to bless a mic! Basically his track record and history does the talking for him. It’s always good to hear emcees expressing opinion about worldly issues that affect us all. Lyrics and arrangement on point as usual. Pharoahe brought the best out of this beat. Can't wait to hear more from him. |
Name: MeNaCe666 (Posted: 10/15/2003 7:11:00 PM) Summary: Droppin Bombz Comment: This sh*t is mad ill! Pharaohe Monch's lyrical style drops bombs at the corrupt goverment officials who terrorize our world. The beat is just as incredible as the rhymes. |
Name: Oprahfunk (Posted: 10/6/2003 1:05:00 PM) Summary: Diz Iz Fo´ Real Comment: Pharoahe is spittin' napalm on da corrupted goverment some ill azz lyrics, I ain't down wit dat hook he should have rapped it if your going 2 sing get a croowner who can sing (wordz 2 slim, rza, busta etc. talkin commercial pop). |
Name: rhymeslanger (Posted: 9/25/2003 10:40:00 PM) Summary: Obvious Comment: OK number one this beat is dope. Doesn't sound anything like Pharell. And Mr. moderator...Pharoahe sounds like every other political rapper? This ain't about the Middle East specifically, he mentions things but does not elaborate, except for his one line about 'Nam and the Gulf War. Kweli and Mos are the political rappers. I suggest you listen to "Beef" by Mos if you wanna hear a real political flow. This joint is still dope, either way Pharoahe's my favorite rapper. |
Name: kineticmindz (Posted: 8/28/2003 4:39:00 AM) Summary: He Will Never Fall Off Comment: The lyrics was ill as hell ..but the beat could have been way way better. It sounded like some bootleg Neptunes sh*t. |
Name: GeorgeStadler (Posted: 8/8/2003 8:07:00 PM) Summary: Gat Damn Comment: Rawkus may have gotten rid of a lot of their artists but sh*t, with Kweli, Mos Def and P.Monche they don’t need any one else. Can’t wait for this LP to drop. |
Name: lexicon718 (Posted: 7/18/2003 7:06:00 PM) Summary: Y'all Ready To Rock! Comment: Queens forever doin it, this is my joint right here! Pharoahe never ceases to impress me with his creativity. The flow, as always, is on point and the production is equally impressive. I usually don't like synthesized production, but they put in work on this joint. This is a serious head-nodder.

Name: mecbar (Posted: 7/17/2003 8:44:00 PM) Summary: Mind Blowing! Comment: The almighty Pharoahe drops science on "Agent Orange." Not crazy about the experimental production but Pharoahe brings me back to the CRUSH, KILL, DESTROY, STRESS days. Nice to see complex rhymes in this age of mindless garbage.

Name: emceebackpacker (Posted: 7/16/2003 9:11:00 PM) Summary: Pharaoh Heater Joint Comment: Yo, this joint is type nice! Type of song you roll 10mph to muggin’ carloads. Pharaohe comes with that hot flow as usual- tongue twister political worldview steez on this. Head-nod beat, tight production and Pharaoh’s flow=A+ track that sees the repeat button.

Name: Leather neck (Posted: 7/13/2003 9:43:00 PM) Summary: Pharoahe Is Finally Back! Comment: Pharoahe is back and better than ever. In my opinion he is one of the best lyricists in the game right now. His subject matter is so diverse that it makes an otherwise average beat turn into a hit track. Now we just have to wait on the LP.

Name: The Difference (Posted: 7/13/2003 1:35:00 PM) Comment: A complete 180 from Cage's song with the same title. Instead Pharoahe's “Agent Orange” is more focused and aimed. It starts with Pharoahe singing the hook, then my man bursts into the track immediately with some aggressive lyrics. This song (like a lot of hip-hop dropping nowadays) is basically identifying, opposing, and explaining the current situation concerning this time of war. Pharoahe is sure to win you over with witty lines like “Y'all wanna ask me who's sane (Hussein)” and “Thirty seconds after they bagged dad for what he's worth.” This is definitely real hip-hop, enjoy. |
