Comment: OK number one this beat is dope. Doesn't sound anything like Pharell. And Mr. moderator...Pharoahe sounds like every other political rapper? This ain't about the Middle East specifically, he mentions things but does not elaborate, except for his one line about 'Nam and the Gulf War. Kweli and Mos are the political rappers. I suggest you listen to "Beef" by Mos if you wanna hear a real political flow. This joint is still dope, either way Pharoahe's my favorite rapper. |

Comment: A complete 180 from Cage's song with the same title. Instead Pharoahe's “Agent Orange” is more focused and aimed. It starts with Pharoahe singing the hook, then my man bursts into the track immediately with some aggressive lyrics. This song (like a lot of hip-hop dropping nowadays) is basically identifying, opposing, and explaining the current situation concerning this time of war. Pharoahe is sure to win you over with witty lines like “Y'all wanna ask me who's sane (Hussein)” and “Thirty seconds after they bagged dad for what he's worth.” This is definitely real hip-hop, enjoy. |
