Comment: Now MCs have always been cocky but damn Nabo's got some ego. Fortunately he's got the skills to back it up, and on top of that he's got Mister Jason who brings a very funky beat. But I do have one gripe with the beat. While I doubt Jason did this on purpose, but this has Quasi syndrome. If you don't know what I mean by that it's where you know a sample's been used but it's not easy to put your finger on who used it. I'll save y'all a headache -- this sample was used on an interlude in DJ Shadow's Endtroducing. Back to the subject… this cut. If you like Porn Theatre Ushers you'll love this, if not you'll still probably like it -- so listen. By the way, our very own Harmonia is on this track doing her "white girl impression". |
