Comment: The perennial posse cut specialist Wordsworth offers up some solo material here with “Gotta Pay” and “Trust” (Donae). Whether by himself or with a crew Wordsworth does bring some quality material to the table. This track here is some solid material, but it just doesn’t set itself apart to me. It lacks something that really propels it to a single-worthy level. As always you have Wordworth’s lyrical abilities and witty punches, and it works with the beat, but something just isn’t standing out. |
