Comment: I liked this album a lot. I do feel like he could have spent more time on it (even though I love it) it lacks the intensity of the first release.

Comment: Here's how I feel...........that Big Johns parents can pay for Kool G Rap, RA, Canibus, etc to drop verses is sad; I wonder how awkward it must have been when they heard Big John LOL. it. He really sucks. I feel like in the underground people underemphasize the importance of having a good voice. Some people just don't have it, and spitting some unimpressive gory lyrics doesn't make the situation better. Get a day job my dude.

Comment: How people can put this album down is beyond me. People seem not to be able to appreciate a man's efforts. This album is genious. Listen to some of the lyrics and hear what he put into them. They actually mean something, and they are real deep. Big John has a multiplatinum future, all it takes is one or two plays on MTV and this record is going platinum. And that review before this one by Kope that says that he can't move to the beat. I can see that, but it really doesnt matter. When I rap, I am almost completely still. It really doesnt matter as long as his vocals are on beat, and they are. Don't listen to those idiots that gave this album a low rating, this album is probably the best of the decade and with a little exposure will go multiplatinum.

Comment: i feel digger and them other cats... judging by the comments over here, the few cool ones were posted by mister john aka the internet mangler himself... yo john, show us you're truly that hot and get on tour, stop acting like an immature internet version of vinnie paz ad step your game up!! some of the beats on this album are the shit, then again if you spent like 6000 bucks on the features least you can expect is some quality...

Comment: The beats for the most part are nice and the guest spots are as well, but Big John is pretty wack. Bush league & amateurish sounding shit really. Opqosite summed it up perfectly; "this Big John album would have been much better without Big John."

Comment: Many do this style better. Big john's voice and lyrics get a little tiresome, but they are sharp in some spots. Big John Sounds a little like Mike Jonz saying his name so much. Mic Daily is fairly nice and I enjoy his parts more then Johns. The guest spots and beats are paid for obviously and this guy tour or what, never comes thru my city? Overall it's average.

Comment: The beats are nice, guest spots are great, R.A kills it, but then Big John comes in SCREAMING corny battle lines, quickly ruining every track. Overall, this Big John album would have been much better without Big John.

Comment: Solid album, although Big John's style gets a little tired at times. He would be a much better single verse collabo rapper in a group like AOTP (although Im not sure he could hang) His album lacks any continuity or clear message. I just doesnt take you anywhere from start to finsish. it is really just a bunch of random songs thrown together without any rhyme or reason

Comment: I'm lovin this album. Big John has a certain energy that kinda reminds me of LL back in the "i'm bad" era. Having purchased both this album and The Author (his debut) I feel like he's stepped his game up. And production wise, the tracks are even tighter and every producer brought something to the table that really fits with his style (by the way, R.I.P. Clockwork...homie was a true talent). Anyway I dig this album because it's real hip hop with no gimmicks.

Comment: Big John- don't listen to that idiot from Jersey and his stupid comments. You are a very good performer tour or not. I love your albums, you got some real talent. You don't need to tour, you just need to keep doing what your doing and it will happen. How many rap groups actually go on tour anyways? And if they do, they don't ever make it through the nation. Trust me, I have been a huge rap fan for over 20 years, and the amount of rappers I have seen live I could count on one hand. In fact, its the only genre of music where you can make it without playing live. Plus, Camden, NJ is like one of the most dangerous cities in the United States, so their people talk shit anyways. Big ups to you Big John whether you tour or not. My suggestion would be to keep up the good work, and don't change a thing. You've done a phenomenal job without a tour. It will come in time, and on somebody else's money.

Comment: This just goes to show you that anybody can Fruity Loop and record vocals on a digital 4 track and make an album. However, this guy goes above and beyond with the marketing. BJ is clearly trying to make his mark by promoting this thing. He probably paid more money for the collabos then he did for the production. He should hire a studio band for his next album and a producer and do the whole thing by himself. Doing collabos always helps to sell records, but by your third if you can't do it alone, you can't do it at all. Also, how come BJ has two albums out and I check his Myspace and there is no tour? None for the first record, and none for the second. How hard can it be? You pack up a mp3 player, your hype man, and yourself into a rented car and drive from club to club across th US and Canada doing shows. No sign of this guy coming to Jersey at all. Although he would never make it outta here, the crowd would be pretty harsh on him as a whole but he will always make fans. That's how you get your name out and sell records. He probably checks this site everyday. Big props for trying to do it, but IF YOU DON'T TOUR, YOU AIN'T SHIT HOMIE. Hire a booking agent instead of paying people to rap on your albums and get out on the road. I do like the tracks thouhg, and would pay to see him, in Camden or other parts of Jersey.

Comment: Don't be fooled by Big John and his buddies rating this album 5 stars, aside from the guest appearances, this is by far one of the most amateurish albums in recent memory. Every song is about battling rappers, being a bad ass and more played-out battle rap. Like seriously, this guy thought he could hang with Bis, RA and G Rap??? He needs to hang himself for even thinking that! I'm giving this 2 stars: 1 star for the beats and 1 star for the collabos, the rest is hot garbage. Sorry John...

My favorite track is the Outro. John raps all the way through the song. One More Bar is also one of my favorites. BIS rips it and Esoteric and John come real nice as well.
