Comment: went to Low End Theory SF at club Mighty on 3/1/2013 it was a good four hours of good heavy bass music the system was thumpin and my ears was ringing. the highlight for me was when Exile lifted his MP and banged it on his forehead.

Comment: Have to be honest, haven't spun this that often. Either its not grabbing me like their last lp or just haven't had the time. The Only One is pretty nice though!

Comment: this is a Hip Hop Gem, maybe soon to be Classic, beats are consistent and true school rude, Blu is a poetic dali / picasso on this project and worthy of best album of the year nod, and if not, its certainly a top 5

Comment: What people have failed to mention is the wonderful mini LP cardboard gatefold that this cd is housed in. Creative packaging like this is what labels need to do to make their products special if they are interested at all in limiting downloads of their work. Give paying customers something collectible besides the standard jewel cases which are disposable and they might just purchase your cd instead of taking the easy mp3 avenue. Plus the album sounds dope on top, very nice package as a whole, well done.

Comment: exile is a beast on the mpc live. I remember coping a 12 inch 'Out Side Looking In' and 'Dawn's Second Coming' on cassette back when actual tapes were still being slanged. since then exile has mastered his craft, I can honestly say he has come a long way and still remains prevalent in the game even if its digital.

Comment: Good record. I keep trying to get into Blu more. Not there but almost. Everyone else goes gaga over him but for me it isn't that magic I sometimes feel with other mcs. Maybe just my taste, iont know.

Comment: Blu free associated poetics paint masterpieces over Exile canvas' of the finest linens, this is the Hip Hop I would share with aliens visiting earth and asking to hear an example of our finest arts... I can understand some peoples disappointment in Blu, I just can't co-sign nor value those opinions

Comment: I downloaded this last year and I think you still can if you search. Not the best sound quality but it's one of Blu's best imo. I'm looking forward to this official, remastered release and hope the Godlee Barnes LP is not far behind.

Comment: Almost a sure "album of the year" right here. Below the Heavens is one of the all time greatest hiphop achievements in my opinion.
@STEVR - The version of "GMMFWICSST" that dropped last year was the first step in the making of THIS one. I don't think there will be two tracks that'll sound alike at all.
@dig chi - Blu will definitely be rapping. I'm guissing the instrumental in the video will have Blu on it on the album.
