Mtv Raps with my VCR pressing record... like stayin up late tryin to tape underground rap music from college radio stations like kzsu and tryin to get a good reception from the antenna with foil on the lower end of the dial. this album attaches memories for me, maybe about 21 years later now looking back and knowing of this album for so long before Hiero came to be is just a humbling experience just following a culture of Hip Hop from a young age. the love for Hip Hop started in the middle of '88 when I was ten years old. I dont know what ten year olds nowadays do but my experience with Hip Hop was a journey or should I say an adventure. those days without the internet, any information you gathered about music by word of mouth was more exciting and valuable just to only know of and you got it no other way else... no social media etc. | Name: DWYCK (Posted: 2/15/2012 11:49:00 PM; Partial IP: 26.200.126) Location: The Basement Comment: has original 8) | Name: Toka (Posted: 2/14/2012 7:16:00 PM; Partial IP: 00.225.206) Location: Seattle, WA Comment: Classic. I actually love this album and think it had a totally creative and refreshing vibe for 1991. EXCELLENT production, Del is on point lyrically...and just overall fun. Not as good as No Need For Alarm, but then again they are completely different albums, really. But fuck buying this rerelease from Elektra...buy it off Del's personal BandCamp page instead...he'll get more $$$ out of the deal that way, instead of probably nothing from this Elektra release. | Name: KE (Posted: 2/10/2012 5:25:00 PM; Partial IP: 68.134.148) Location: Hawaii Comment: mindyourbiz, I agree. This album really wasn't all that great when it came out and it certainly didn't age well. I didn't even care for the Ahonetwo joint. The album always sounded a bit corny to me. DEL's best album is by far No Need For Alarm. | Name: DEWOPA (Posted: 2/8/2012 9:05:00 AM; Partial IP: 51.208.248) Location: LANSING MICHIGAN Comment: the rest is garbage?
