Item Summary
Traffic Entertainment received a call from legendary Hip Hop producer Show on behalf of the entire Diggin' In the Crates crew stating that they wanted to re-establish the world famous D.I.T.C. brand. Of course we were more than happy to oblige by partnering up to help breathe life back into the dead lungs of New York City Hip Hop. The Movement features twelve tracks from D.I.T.C.'s finest, voices you have come to trust for the real rap shit since the days when MTV actually played videos and before the overabundance of songs with autotuned hooks being played on commercial radio. As always, production credits include Show, Buckwild and Lord Finesse, with vocals being supplied by Rap veterans and DITC-alumni O.C. and A.G. and more recent crew additions D Flow, Party Arty, Boss Money, A. Bless, and a surprise and much-welcomed appearance from seasoned Brooklyn-native Joell Ortiz. The Movement marks the beginning of new era for the Diggin' In the Crates crew. With full length albums scheduled to drop in the first half of 2009 from O.C. & A.G. and Show & A.G., D.I.T.C. and real Hip Hop has definitely returned.

Comment: This album was a real disappointment and I would have rather purchased the ones I liked on 12" singles rather than by the whole album. Pretty weak considering this is supposed to be the DITC CREW,I guess Big L was the Meat & Potatoes....R.I.POWER BIG L! COme back to the real ish .....What happened to the real D.I.T.C.?

Comment: I just bought the album, and I knew from the start, this wasent going to be the tipical DITC album, it's a compilation with affiliates of DITC, and i've always been down with Diggin in the crates, so I copped it! Im suprised how dope these artist's is.. D-Flow, Arty, Boss Money and so on.. incredible emcees.. they been holdin it down since the 90's, so it ain't no new artists.. Production is on point, and got alot of classic material on there.. OC and AG is legendary, and probably my favourite emcees of all time.. once again, they come incredible on the album! this is MUST have for any DITC fan out there.. I hope we will get to see a DITC album soon, with all them dudes on there.. Show, AG, OC, Buck, Finesse, Diamond, Joe and some unreleased Big L on there.. let's see.. !! DOPE ALBUM!

Comment: This album is on fire! Every track is hella on point with the beats and the lyrics. Each emcee got the flow on lock on this one. I think this is the best crew release so far. A lot better than the first crew album i'd say.

Comment: I forgot to say that the D-Flow track is "Mad Live" but it figure it's by a dude name Drawzilla. Who is that? Why does this dude have the best beat on here opposed to buckwild, Lord Finesse, or Showbiz? Man, this album sucks...

Comment: A long time comming. I can't wait for this to drop. Much respect to the whole DITC crew for staying true to the culture. Gaul you must not know, love or be Hip Hop b/c if you are dissin Diamond D then you must be lost in the bullshit.

Comment: Can't fucking wait!! Fuck yes! I was literally just saying that I miss Showbiz's production badly, and here they are coming back, to put that real shit back in the game. Oh and by the way, this cat Pepe of Gaul, D.I.T.C. wouldn't be complete without Party Arty, are you serious? You don't know shit, man. Anyways, thank You Showbiz for the ill idea of bringing this shit back!! It's bout to be a movement!!!

Comment: It's a bummer that this comeback album is only 12 tracks deep. I do think its dope that it got D-flow on a good amount of tracks though. I've always wanted to hear a full length from D-flow.

Comment: Dont get me wrong, DITC is the shit. But why does this album cover look so goddamn bootleg? I know they could do better than this. And thank you for no Diamond D. That Huge Hef album was quite unbearable. I got it for free and still deleted that shit off my 500GB hard drive, not cause I needed the space but because I didnt want his wackness to permeate into my other files. Oh shit! Party Arty AND Milano are on here too? Now I definitely will make sure not to check for this one.
