Item Summary
With Pain Language, platinum producer DJ Muggs and visionary West Coast emcee Planet Asia deliver a dark and pummeling brand of hip hop which breathes energy and excitement into each cut. Through his trailblazing work with the legendary group Cypress Hill, DJ Muggs has made it clear that he sets trends rather than follows them. A trend bucker himself, Planet Asia is a natural fit for a collaboration. Together, the pair set out to restore the rule-breaking ethos, and the creative energy to hip hop. The duo has made a rebellious, reflective, and unconventional album which is nontheless classic in feel and execution. Simply put, this is brass knuckle rap.

Comment: damn, planet asia is really on top of his game with this one; his delivery has always been top-notch, but the rhymes are equally as on-point on this release. not to mention, the main reason to cop this shit is the fire-storm of instrumentals supplied by muggs. dj muggs is straight fading mother fuckers! now quit sleeping and cop this shit if you haven't already.

Comment: As good as it gets. Muggs is a legend and still produces classic material after being 20 years in the game. Planet Asia on the other hand, has been on top of his game for the last couple of years constantly dropping quality albums and mixtapes. The result is an insane album that should get heavy rotation in any boombox.

Comment: This is Planet Asia's best album yet because he has some dope ass beats from Muggs to spit on. Production was what his other albums was kind of missing. I thought that the production also seems to inspire a more unique style of topics and lyricism from Planet Asia which are a lot more creative and full of substance from previous works. The whole overall chemistry of this album is hella bangin I think. My head still continues to nod. I had no idea that this album was gonna be my favorite this year.

Comment: This is Planet Asia best album. I agree with J Dub. Asia has never deliver a consistent album like " Pain Language". His lyricism was never a question. His producation always been weak. Dj Muggs has saved Planet Asia from Disappointment. Asia is def one of my top 10 independent artist of all time. Great album.

Comment: This album is possibly Planet Asia's best body of work. From start to finish it never fails to deliver from a lyrical standpoint & a production standpoint. My only gripe is that B-Real only does a couple of hooks, but then again he can't really stand toe to toe with Asia anyways. Never the less this is a modern day classic and a must cop situation for any fan of real hip hop.
