Comment: another true, classic album from da god El Producto. he was always one of my favorite emcees and producers for over a decade but I had lost some enthusiasm over the past few as the Jux faded out... however the kidd is back like cooked crack owning shit right now. R.A.P. Music is a perfect, concise hip hop album that anyone can feel; C4C also brings that concise feel; while to me his other 2 solo albums are 5 star classics, they were more sprawlingly epic leading you to not rock 'em all the time, but C4C is mad clean, razor honed detail, no filler, I can rock it most any time, and will for quite some time i'm sure. a must-cop for sheezy |

Comment: i'm back,just to write that I did what I wrote that I would have done in my review.i mean that I bought "Fantastic Damege" and "I'll Sleep When You're Dead",other two bombs,people and very good music,productions and rap to feel good,intense and strong.plus,pure lyricism and high vocabolary level,like he allways did.i appreciated "I'll Sleep When You're Dead" a lot,becouse,even if the flow is the same on many tracks,i understood that it was a your chois,becouse you already made crazy thing with crearives flows and tecniques on the past and you back to do it on "Cancer 4 Cure",so "I'll Sleep When You're Dead" still a big album in that way a different way.if "Cancer 4 Cure",would be like that album,i would be disapointed,but you did that original project,then you are back to put different flows and original tecniques,when many rappers,never back to do it,but you are real!!!BIG El-Producto.keep like that. |

Lyrics on point like always...but I feel like el-ps chemistry is more compatible with the abstract hiphop beats n intrumentals like on "Fantastic Damage" - "Funcrusher Plus" and his earlier works. These beats give the album an almost - and I hate to say it - mainstream sound lol. And the some of the guest emcees sound like Lil Wayne immitators...yuck! Production makes up for all that hence the 4 stars. |
