Name: Hollie (Posted: 9/10/2009 1:06:00 AM; Partial IP: 234.64.134) Location: PA Comment: I'm not really into MURS. He's ok, I suppose. Not the best, never will be. I got it because SLUG was on this album. And I love what he put into the songs. Too upbeat to me, though. I agree with IKEWS | Name: lowprofile (Posted: 9/10/2003 9:28:00 PM) Summary: I Never Thought This Would Happen... Comment: Two of my favorites with Grouch on the tracks combine to drop what may be perhaps the worst album I've purchased all year. Boooooooooo! | Name: Juel (Posted: 12/6/2002 3:44:00 PM) Summary: F*ck Christina And F*ck Lucy, Bitches. Comment: How can you deny Slug’s tormented lyrical delivery and Murs (it’s simple but it’s just Murs) back up vocals? Would've liked to see Grouch give it his all but I guess you cant win them all. This duo is a definite in all-time greats. And these assholes are definite REAL hip-hop historians. F*ck Christina and f*ck Lucy, dumb hoes!
| Name: Jay Butterz (Posted: 10/24/2002 12:40:00 AM) Summary: Dissapointing. Comment: I’m a big Slug fan (I get to see him and others on tour in Providence in two more nights while I’m writing this as a matter of fact) and what I have heard from Murs has been nice. This project should not have been made. Lyrically, not bad at all, but the production is very bland, not enough sample work at all. I’m not hating, it’s just when great artists make disappointing material it hits closer to home and you end up disliking them more than wack material from a garbage artist. Some may like it- power to you. This is not my cup of hot chocolate or my pack of blacks. | Name: Miss Jenn Tee (Posted: 10/17/2002 8:41:00 PM) Summary: Slug Is The Sh*t Comment: Man o' Man. Murs and Slug together is like cookies & milk. | Name: bigklow (Posted: 10/17/2002 6:43:00 PM) Summary: Dissapointing Comment: Damn, did I look forward to this sh*t? Slug, one of my big rap-heroes, and Murs is also a big favorite. These two together? Unbeatable. But wait, someone let the Grouch in and just watched him f*ck everything up. Sorry Grouch, your older stuff is all good, but these new beats suck ol' dirty's sneakers or some sh*t. Okay, it's an EP, but it's too damn short. I would have liked to get more material, that would have given me a better impression. And Slug, honestly, you can sing a whole lot better than that. You almost killed my cat, wanna be a catkiller? Don't think so. Dump Christina and get back with Lucy and it's all gully. | Name: IKEWS (Posted: 10/10/2002 5:20:00 PM) Summary: Hot Joints........ Comment: It’s a little more upbeat sound for Slug but its still a fresh album. As for Murs is a tight artist too! |
