Nice beats from Just Blaze & Jake One as usual, but i'm not feeling the rest on the album. |

Only thing I will say is I had to give the album 4 stars cus I felt the freedom of speech mixtape he used to lead onto this album had a few better tracks and actually felt more like a fully realized album. Not a fan of when that happens. but hes not the first and wont be the last. All that said still another solid soon to be classic album from free. |

Sorry I have good taste in music and art and don't except less then the best from artists if I am going to spend my hard earned money on them. If you like all of his music good for you and I am glad you enjoy it but I was expressing my opinion that I do not like most of his music and that when he worked with the "golden boy producer" I felt he really expressed himself in a creative and entertaining way that I personally appreciated. Peace to all of you. |

If you were a fan of the album he did with Jake One, then this album shouldn't disappoint. Sure, Jake One was a reason quite a few heads even looked Free's way, but the end result is that you enjoyed it. So now dude releases a new album, and all of the sudden the content is different? Fix your ears. Dude didn't change his artistic integrity. In fact, I think it's awesome Free worked with Jake One, just like a few "mainstream," artist are working with independent artists. Think about that one for a second. The outcome isn't always as bad. If you can't rock with Free now, but got that album he did with Jake in your collection, something is wrong. If you did peep this album, and just dislike it, fine, but for all the purist, ease up a bit. That's the problem with the culture now. I can respect keeping it true, but the message gets lost easily if you remain close minded. Done preaching. Album is dope. |

Freeways one of the most consistent mcs still spittin raw gutter ass bars. Just say you never got him and move on. Your whole "he was only good when jake one produced for him" doesnt make him a bad emcee it makes you a shitty listener. He never changed once in his career. u just liked when he was doin the same thing over beats by one of your golden boy producers. Whiney bitches the whole lot of ya. |

I heard a couple of the upcoming tracks off this album also. Just when I thought Freeway was starting to become something worthwhile and actually having some integrity to his music, It seems he reverting back to his old compromising self. He such a great MC, recently became one of my favorite rappers in fact and Its just a shame to hear this type of music. Jake One really did bring out his true artistry. I thought it was the start of a new Freeway and great projects to come. It seems he's back to that old bad music. No "Escalator" or "Beautiful Music" :( |

I will say however I haven't liked anything he has ever done except Stimulus Package, which I think is a classic and I still listen to regularly. Jake One seemed to be able to pull the true artist out of him or he was just on a winning streak when he wrote that LP. Anyways I really had hoped that his next LP would be of that caliber but so far it looks like the same ol' crap he usually does... Oh well... Freeway is just not for me I cannot stand his voice most of the time and he has Prodigitis where most of his lines don't even rhyme. |

Anyway, I'd like to hear a few samples of this first, his last album Stimulus Package was off the hook, mostly due to great production though. |
