Summary: I Can't Hate On These Forefathers
Comment: These dudes have earned eternal respect with years of hard work and dedication. This is not my favorite release of theirs, however, it holds itself together. It's solid. Even if they released some Eminem/50 Cent/Will Smith jiggy crap. I would cop it out of pure respect. |

Summary: This Is Tough
Comment: To judge Gangstarr is tough. This is a solid album but most people will tell you they expected more. They are one of the best duos in history but Primo's beats have become some what limp since 2001. I don't know why but they have. I still enjoyed this but nothing quite stood out like when I first listened to older Gangstarr albums before. |

Summary: Not A Real Gangstarr Album
Comment: After "Moment of Truth" this album is trash. Gangstarr is classic and by no means does this album live up to their previous performance. Not one beat that Primo comes up with is worth bragging on this album. Instead of featuring underground cats now they are featuring Snoop and Jadakiss.
I love Gangstarr but this album is a bit mainstream and I just hope the next album is better. |

Summary: Premo Puts On The Show, Guru Does His Thang
Comment: This album is classic Gang Starr sh*t! "Skills," "Peace of Mine," and "Deadly Habitz" shine as the best songs that are strictly Guru and Premo. I don't feel like Guru kills many of his verses, definitely not as much heat as I was expecting. But "Rite Where U Stand," "Nice Girl Wrong Place," "Capture," "Who Got Gunz," and "In This Life" are mad HOT collabos. This sh*t is a must-have for any Gang Starr fan that is worth his tables. Get your hands on this CD! |

Comment: This album proves alot about whatever you think about Gangstarr. A great album. Check out "Nice Girl, Wrong Place", probably the best joint aside from "Skillz". Well worth it. |

Comment: We had to wait, but here they are again! Everyone that hears this album is gonna bang his head. Even if you're not into hip-hop. There's not much difference in there music on the new album, but they sure are the best in making hip-hop music so there just keeping on and on. Pick it up, pick it up!!! |

Summary: This May Not Be The Best Gang Starr Album Ever, But It's Gang Starr None-the-less.
Comment: On the whole there are more songs that lack classic quality on “The Ownerz.” It doesn't even live up to the excellence of “Moment of Truth.” Gang Starr is one of the best groups of all time though, and this album is great all the same.
