I'm goin' 2 buy this album, cause it's worth da "$" and it belongs in my collection. There is about 3 tracks that I don't like, but overall, it's a dope album. I do agree wit "Rder" cause "Canarsie High" has the dopest beat, Large Pro produced a BANGIN' beat. |

I wish he had some production by Oddisee, Gensu Dean or 7l but premo and large pro had the best beats... C-Lance & les had boring beats but not the worst that I've heard....Bills production seems to be getting better but he needs to get Necro back & cut some of the others cats off.... More premo and large Pro, the Pete Rock jawns r cool but not his best work either... With that being said it's a nice well rounded album for bill that has some different sounds and direction....Flows more like a mix tape but still dope enough for me !!! |

Name: The Truth (Posted: 2/27/2013 7:49:00 PM; Partial IP: .77.22.250) Location: New York Comment: Album is pretty solid. For the record, the Psycho Les is the worst on the album, a lot of lackluster production but Large Pro and Premo brought their A-game. It just felt more like a mixtape than an album unlike "Hour of Reprisal." The flaws of the album aren't revolving around Bill's verses or deliery which is top notch, it mostly has to do with a lack of direction; it's the same thing over and over again. Not saying it directly hurt the album, but I wish it had some Necro production on it. By the way this has the best Jus Allah verse he's done in 5 years on it |

It is almost a flawless list of the greats! The lyrics are on point and the guest really enhance the LP. The DJ Muggs track instilled my faith in him as a producer as I have not been a fan of his recent dubstep endeavors. Definitely BUY this LP! |

I thought Hour of Reprisal was a pretty good conceptual album but inconsistent throughout. The Grimy Awards is his best effort so far. I dug every track. The Pete Rock remix is good but I wished the original 'When I Die' was on this. You know what would have made this album better than it already is? An Alchemist track! Considering that ALC has been on that guitar sample binge lately, it would have fit this album like a glove. |

Junior makhno had the illest beat on here.. Moss beat was disappointing for me thought it'd be heavier.. Clance beat was what I expected, mediocre at best, I really thought it was wack.. Pete rock and preemo killed it as did muggs and psycho les... Mega, Q, Paz, OC, Shabazz, Fizzy Wo all killed it.. 3.5 outta 5 ad that's comin from a die ard bill fan he's my favorite |

I see this being the end of ill bill. he might be able to get more time if he can reconnect with his idiot brother who's also a shell of himself. not likely. |
