Comment: Love the album. Ikon The Verbal Hologram (Vinnie Paz) drops some serious knowledge & Ap... damn my favorite rhyme from him was how he closed out "The Three Immortals". "Yall fish-tank gupies couldn't fuck with the octopus", classic. highly recommend this to die hard JMT fans.

Comment: A classic album whoever typed the comment below this one is a fucking stupidass Visions Of Ghandi is dope but you don't compare that album to this one.

Summary: Hmmm Well It Depends
Comment: Here's my personal feel on this album, yeah it was good but im use to more of JMT's newer sh*t where Paz has the more violent: "I'm about to rip off your babies head and feed it to wolves" type approach, where as on here, his style is good but not as great. Don't get me wrong this album is a classic, it's quite good , production was dope but then again JMT's production is always dope and the lyrics were nice although I thought they weren't as good as now. Still I do recommend people get this album , it's a part of history and not a bad album but I think not their best. The newer album "Visions of Ghandi" is pretty dope. JMT are f*cking ill and this album shows it but in my opinion it doesn't come on as strong as the others.

Summary: Dopest In The Game
Comment: I don't know what’s wrong with the cats that be hatin' on JMT or The Psycho-Social, but they are definitely the dopest in the game. Their raw in your face lyrics and the beat productions are off the hook. Any track you listen to just leaves you in awe. I'm hopin' that Visions of Ghandi is gonna live up to all the hype and that Vinnie and Stoupe are still holdin' down and goin strong.

Summary: Masterpiece
Comment: This album is the most unique hip-hop record I have ever heard. It is why I became the infamous JEDI.MIND.TRICKS.FAN. I pity the fool who does not check this record out. It represents the pathos of underground hip-hop and pre-millennium tension leading into the year 2000. This is a must have record for true headz.

Summary: Bringing Back The Memories!!!
Comment: Ah yes, I remember picking this album up in ‘98 when it was first released. Classic banger sh*t for real! This was a new kind of hip-hop I was not introduced to until JMT came out with this classic. Ikon's lyrics are on point and Stoupe's beats are banging.
Sad though that Ikon had to change his style to sounding like a wanna-be DMX.

Summary: Highly Overlooked
Comment: I remember buying this sh*t on vinyl back in '98 when it hit the little underground stores in Philly, and it was just crazy. Jedi did something that other heads weren't doing, and they put out something so unique that the little attention that it did get offered nuthin’ but praise. Then I had to leave it in my boy's car one summer night, and when I got it out 2 days later it was all melted and warped. I hadn't listened to it again until this past summer, when it was re-released through Babygrande. Listening to it again brings back good memories.

Summary: Hidden Gem
Comment: Most of today’s JMT fans might not even have heard this album. When I first got my hands on this back in ‘98-‘99 I was amazed. Spaced-out rhymes and dark rzaish production. Damn! This album may have been around some years and the production ain't as tight as on Violent By Design but it's nice to hear it all again and to get a couple of bonus tracks.

Summary: Classic Material.
Comment: Back in 1998 when I first bought this album on wax, it was dream come true to find this gem in the vasts amounts of bland hip hop. The lyrics and beats are on point. Stoupe is one of my favorite producers and Ikon's rhymes are excellent and full of knowledge. The guest appearances are dope too. You guys may not have heard of some of these cats other than Apathy but they all are dope and compliment the JMT style of rhyming. All the tracks on this album set a perfect mood for the type of topics these cats are dropping. Ikon, Apathy, The Lost Children of Babylon all drop heavy rhymes that will appeal to anyone who knows what they are talking about.
The 6 bonus tracks are a welcome treat too. They display Ikon's and Stoup's early work with their old crew before dropping an album.
I’m looking forward to JMT's 3rd album "Visions of Ghandi".
The last album "Violent by Design" was dope, but not as dope as this one.
Stoupe's beats on the last album were dope but Ikon’s style of rhyming and lyrics kind of changed. I hope that JMT don’t continue changing their style and lose their knowledgeable appeal that they had in the psycho, social album.
It’s nice to see the Psycho social... album being re-released in CD, so all those who missed it back in ‘98 can experience this underground masterpiece.

Summary: Terrible Beats, and Very Terrible Mc's.
Comment: When I looked and saw that Jedi Mind had a new album I was like yeah, finally some good hip hop that I can relate to. Their last album was intense, there was some things about the old album that I didn't like but a listener would overlook them. But on this album the rhymes were some of the worst I have every heard, the delivery was off, and the concepts were old and unoriginal. Vinnie Paz sounded like he was 16, and not the fire breather that spit venomous fangs on the last, and there was so many new cats rhyming who clearly should not have been on any album. Basically the album is garbage and if this was the Source Magazine I would give them 1/4 of a mic, just because they recorded a record.
