Comment: Id like to see DOOM collaborate with Prince Paul on some 3 feet high and rising type of flava or maybe with Dan The Automator on a full length album. Knowing that Dr. Who Dat AKA Jneiro Jarel who was featured on the Low End Theory LA like Daedelus or Afta-1 or Fly Lo maybe I would anticipate this album and know what to expect especially from a electronic experimental prespective. im assuming some Hip Hop heads arent aware of the side of Hip Hop that involves electronic music IDM the UK shit etc like Herbalizer or the Unsung Heros or maybe Kidkanevil etc. so im not surprised of what others say, its part of its own evolution innovation.

basically ass. I’m sorry I tried to get into it, and I just can’t. There are about 3 decent
tracks on there but the rest is just down right boring. The skits are just down right stupid as well.

Comment: these days there aint no middle man if the artist decides to put it out straight to digital distribution (mp3s) and these days there is almost no such thing as an A & R (example: Dante Ross) unless the artist is signed to a major label. its always a matter of quality vs quantity, true musicians with a good sense of musicality is quality VS major labels who are money hungry and to add to that, the artist compromises to standards where it automatically BLOWS UP AND GOES POP as if it were rigged, even if the major label pays a ghostwriter to write lyrics for the artist (taboo for true emcees), and even if it sounds stupid and the artist makes a fool of them selves and all that matters is the quantity of units selling and going platinum. And it comes to show How poor and desperate mainstream Rap (not Hip Hop) is. Now theres just one bad thing about digital distribution and no A & Rs, anyone can put out material even if it sounds horrible and even if the audience dont know what DOPE Is (like a drug). The A & R is suppose to be like a pharmacist who develops the potency of the artist to hit the sweet spots of the audience assuming there is an addiction. Its sad that nowadays that sweet spot changes so quickly because digital downloading of music scatters that sweet spot all over the place that it lacks that concentrated focus. so now that DOPE-ness is just a one hit wonder and this is bad for the culture trying to stay pure. but if its sampled music and the audience wants to delve into the past and then forms an addiction to the raw form of music the samples came from, then thats another way the sweet spot for DOPE-ness can be refocused now that music is easily accessible at a digital level assuming the raw form of sampled DOPE-ness in its pure form is available. Now who gets the gasface?... its still the major label that are money hungary and are also suffering from free digital download. These days artists with the musicality shouldnt worry about sellin music as the music will speak for its self, and most likely its slept on with the majority thinking mainstream music is the best thing they ever heard. As long as the underground stays pure and concentrated that the culture of fans will always stay up on that DOPE-ness.

YOUNG BUCKS IN A DEMOCRACY ARE WATERING DOWN THE GENERATIONS OF WHAT USE TO BE RAW AND UNADULTERATED CULTURE. IN A DEMOCRACY THE YOUNG ARE GETTING LOST BECAUSE THE ELITE ARE THE TRUE POPULATION CONTROLLERS OF THE NEXT GENERATION AND THEY HAVE THE POWER BECAUSE "WHO EVER CONTROLS THE PAST CONTROLS THE FUTURE"(1984 BIG BROTHER SHIT) THE POPULATION CONTROL HERE IS TO DUMB DOWN THE YOUTH THROUGH MEDIA AND FAME. THE INTERNET SPREADS THE CULTURE SO THIN THAT THE YOUNG GENERATION HAVE NOTHING TO SAY BUT STUPID SHIT UNTIL THE CULTURE IS DEAD. Comment: I am actually feeling the beats. Banished is RIDICULOUS!!!!!! Just do it again. I don't know. We are all right, we are all wrong, but I am still listening like its the first time I heard it. I believe JJ captured the man and the man chose the porducer. He could have chosen ANYBODY, but the DOOM I love is suited to psychadelic. He was transported here. True lyrically but we will never get a DOOM Dilla joint. Can't happen. It feels to me like at the same time DOOM spit these lyrics he simultaneously spit these beats like it was one sound but that (and I honestly appreciate all opinions here whcih is what makes this shit fun) is what I hear and I have yet to get enough of this combo of MC and producer. He is born there and this is teh sound there... They (we) hate him here and that is semi what its about. Villain got kicked out your country and said the pledge of a allegiance 6 times monthly. Purely talking about haveing to leave b/c bullshit began to trump real music. Dig in. That is my 79 cents.

This album is NOTHING short of spectacular. SPECK. TACK. YOU. LER!!! It doesn't sound like ANY DOOM I have ever heard. The dude is a genius lyrically and for those claiming these beats are noise. That "noise" my friends is certified ear jizz. These beats feel customized to the lyrics here. I don't even know what to say. If you LOVE HipHop then you know what I hear. Sweatin' the dude or nothe already said he owes it to a well refined rhyme flow. Yeah he does and I am HOOKED!!! DOOM it is. NO man can handle his supreme flow. Give me a name. Comment: ... that DOOM didn't hand pick and approve every fuckin one of these beats then you're obviously not aware of what this man is capable. The beats ROCK! This sounds like the eclectic sound of the original HipHop 30 years ago. I feel that way about ALL original recipes. Planet Rock was insane and I think DOOM re-capitalizes on an innovating sound. Blah blah blah dick riding, blah blah sweatin' DOOM blah blah your mom blows dick. DOOM is a lyrical genius. AGREE Dr. Death... the answer: NO ONE. NO man on this planet is a better wordsmith. No not even him. NO ONE!!! Let's forego the what to understand the 'HOW" he says it. Then you clowns can catch up on the "what". Hear the how first though. The reason he is releasing in the UK and sticking with that is because you fags HATE HipHop here in the states. If it ain't these radio fags being ass-pimped by no talent producers then it isn't "music" If it won't play in the club for you to spill vodka to, it ain't "music". If it doesn't come with a dance, sprinkles, a balloon, or a free toy inside... you bitches get it? This album is the TRUTH and there is no love in the states. Comment: This is probably the most experimental, melodic and deepest album DOOM and Jneiro has done. Winter Blues is a perfect example of how it really shows DOOM more emotional side of him that I haven't heard before while Jneiro complements with the electronic slash orchestrated violin backdrop. Don't worry, DOOM still has songs with the comical light-hearted super villain style you know and love. But with the uncharted territory that the villain reach really exceeded my expectation. 5/5 no doubt.

Comment: I bet this is good. I want to hear it. K all Doom does anymore is recycle old shit. I've been complaining about that. I still want to hear this; I don't even have the snippets. Either Doom is secretly dead or just fucking lazy.
