The album is average, good beats but Everlast & Danny Boy are 2 40-something year-old white dudes who can't let go of their youth and it shows throughout this record. Hearing them talking about how gangster they are is laughable! |

First off, its not the 90's anymore, its 2009-2010, you want the old dj muggs or large pro sound go get one of their old records. Any intelligent music listener knows music evolves with time. The type of people stuck in a time period are a waste.
The beats are really banging, everlast is just average, but come on bill and slaine just are on another level and totally destroy it lyrically |

With Ill Bill's great solo album "the hour of reprisal" released and great singles sutch as "I'm an american" and "Bang Bang" there was no doubt that this was an album I was looking forward to a lot.
Non Phixion and Ill Bill was the entire reason I began liking hiphop and I still listen to The Future is now over and over again. I was expecting some of the same shit on this album, but it would only disappoint.
As many have said before Everlast seems to do better singing then rapping at times, and his singing ain't exactly primo if you get what I'm saying. Other then that no other tracks then the ones I listed above seem to have quality enough to actually catch my attention. It's all the same and it has been done before, enough said.
I'm giving this a three. I would have given it a two if Ill Bill wasn't on this track, but he lacks new content. |

Are you crazy. A normal person who likes hardcore real Hip-Hop LOVES this album.
I had some doubts about it the past years, but no more. The album is crazy, plus it's diverse, so people who say that there is nothing new are awfully wrong ! This IS classic hip hop influence by 90's, but there IS new stuff to it. I'm sorry for all the poor bastards here who have so irrational opinions about this album. Shame on you for trying to shit on such an effort in the name of real Hip-Hop. DOn't be retarded : if they were trying to be commercial, they wouldn't say so much politically incorrect thingz ! That's not the easy way to get on the radio. Use your brains ! And if you don't like it, just recognize and respect the effort. |

I'm fiending for this like no other album, still I feel like LCN has not yet dropped stuff on the level that one would expect from such great artists... Not a fan of "Do it" and "Once upon a time", for instance... Still I'll support them anyway. "I'm an American" is dope !! |
