Summary

Luck and Lana Kill The Computer is the newest project from world famous underground MC Luckyiam of the Living Legends crew. The veteran MC teamed up with L.A. singer/songwriter/rapper Lana Shea in 2011to form the group Luck&Lana, which has been described as a "mini-dream team" with "talent that is just exploding out the eyesockets" (Trapstyle.com). By mixing elements of hiphop, dub step, soul, pop and electro, combined with their hard-hitting live show, the duo has "come together like a Hip Hop/Dub Step Bonnie and Clyde" (TheKitchenMix.com) and is turning heads from the LA underground to the blogosphere.

Gold was struck when Luck&Lana linked up with Kill The Computer, an EDM production team also out of L.A. What began as one song, Bang Bang (which can be found on Luckyiam's most recent release, "Time To Get Lucky"), led to another and then another. Finally, a full-length album of EDM- infused hiphop with dirty bass, clean bars and soulful hooks was born.

The album includes features from fellow Living Legends members Scarub and Eligh (of The Grouch and Eligh), and is sure to push the game forward with its flawless marriage of EDM and HipHop. The album is co-produced and mixed by Rob "Monsignor" Montes, who's credits include working with Kanye West, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Justin Timberlake, Will.I.Am., Snoop Dogg, Katy Perry, David Guetta, Pitbull,The Game, 50 Cent, Lauryn Hill, Flo Rida, George Clinton and Stevie Wonder.

With heavy touring planned for Spring 2014, Luck & Lana will end out 2013 by performing at one of the biggest EDM festivals in America, SnowGlobe in South Lake Tahoe, along with Tiesto, Kaskade, Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion and Zeds Dead!

Comment: Thank you UGHH for carrying this album. This album is definitely genre bending and is an interesting listen. I actually enjoy this album. I wouldn't have known about this album if it wasn't on your site.

Comment: Luckyiam.PSC is from Living Legends, which is an underground hip hop group we have been carrying on our site since UGHH started. It's just like us carrying The Uncluded (Aesop Rock + Kimya Dawson) album. While I wouldn't consider that album hip hop, fans of Aesop Rock are still possibly interested in it.
