This medicine show was his absolute best within the series. Brought up from the deepest of crates and deepest of madlib created beats. Some beats you can tell have that 90's hip hop vibe with madlib killin it on the sampler. So many songs I went back to on this album, dope art work too. Im happy to say I bought this one, Id recomend buying this one too. |

This beat cd is just so dusty and crispy that I had to get the physical version. It gets better with every listen and depending on my mood I feel something different everytime. For those who grew up on early stones, lootpack and quasi then this is for you as well, enjoy |

Anyone who pre-ordered it and did not ask us to cancel their pre-order is getting their copy at the price they originally paid. If you asked us to cancel your pre-order, please contact customer service and if we still have copies, we will honor the price you had originally paid. As for the price increase, we had to increase the price because the vendor we are getting them from cost much more money than the original vendor we got our original pre-ordered copies from. I'm sure you all already know this but the original supplier shorted ever vendor who pre-ordered - we got 1/3 of what we pre-ordered. We had pre-ordered with them 75 copies, and only received 28 copies. We found another vendor who had 40 copies (which we just received), but the price was much more than the original vendor, in turn making the cost go up in price on our site. |

It instantly blows you back out of your seat. Madlib delivers that same flavor we miss from the Alkaholik/Lootpack/Quasimoto/Stonesthrow Golden Era type ish. It is jam packed with gems for either freestyling to or cutting up records to. It's not only inspirational... it's pure genius in wax form. This is a great body of work anyway you look at it. The SP-1200 production is clearly apparent on over 20 of the tracks listed. Get yours before they're gone! |

(no. 3). didn't like the first w guilty, a little boring. the even number ones are boring crap. madlib shitting out music. but this was great and I did trainspot a few riffs we heard waay kater in 'lib's career. oh and matty mills, you slow canadien. did you just figure out there was a new one of these every month? dumb canadien |

Comment: my fear w/ Madlib is that he releases too much material.. causing Loop Digga fatigue, BUT he never disappoints! yes, he has some throw away beats (and maybe even albums), but who doesn't? this album here showcases his earlier beats and who isn't salivating to hear that?
for the 1st Medicine Show release, I was able to go to release party and get my vinyl fresh off the press from Hit+Run. These covers are dope and a must in ANY collection. just pre-ordered the vinyl here. $35 is not pricey for a piece of hip hop history!!! |

Mad props to Madlib for releasing this entire serie... I hope more dope producers will follow this concept on their own... there's definately a small but real hardcore vinyl market for previous-school demo releases out there... keep it on with this kind of releases..............
5 Stars blindly |
