Comment: I agree with the poster below it does show this young man in a negative light and he was not that way. This shirt just reinforce stereotypes that the majority say about blacks as a whole. I would not buy this shirt. Steer away from this kind of thing, what needs to be focused on promoting with t-shirts positive visuals and quotes. Malcolm Martin, Obama, and many various leaders, stay on track and stay away from promoting negativity. Lloyd Avery was a minister, not a gangster or any other names you call him. He was a sweet guy. Thats all I have to say dn I will not put my money into anything like this. |

Comment: Llody Avery II was a good person and had a good heart. He is being portrayed as negative. He became a Christian minister before his tragic death. This shirt is giving him a bad name and I think he deserves more respect then this. He is very handsome and a shirt with another picture would be better. Lloyd was a extremely positive man of God. We should remember Lloyd as a positive role model who spread the word of God. |

Comment: The man on the shirt is very handsome. What's being portrayed is very negative. He became a minister, why not show something positive instead of reinforcing the lies and notions people make about him. Lloyd was a man of God and people need to know that. He wouldn't want this...maybe this would of been cool back in the 90's but Lloyd had a different outlook on the world itself. It's bad enough people stereotype anyway.
