Comment: To truly appreciate and understand this album you need to listen to the full tracks. I'm glad this is on Music Unlimited so I could preview the whole thing. I think this may be one of those albums you may need to hear a few times before you change you realize you like it. This is real hip hop here. It has soul and substance, as mentioned. Might not be your style though this is an example of how hip hop should sound. |

Comment: This album is interesting if you go into it with an open mind and not expect an traditional masta killa or Wu sounding album. The production on this project is quite nice if you enjoy laid back jazzy smoothed out beats. The lyrics are on point and thought provoking on some tracks. There are no hard hitting boombap beats on here or hard spittin darts but thats okay. This is a different sounding album for mature listeners, I liked the first album, second one not so much but this one im diggin quite abit.. enjoy! |
