Its nice to see 2 talented competent indy cats getting together for a collabo. However the last hidden bonus track on this totally ruins the project for me, what a ear sore..damn |

Not the kind or release I was expecting from murs but a very solid project none the less. Fashawn brings a little more of the streets into his verses and leaves the self reflection to murs. This is the first project these two have done together and its sounds like they have been trading flows for a long time. The production is solid. Some of the best g-funk organ and bass lines I've head since dre's chronic 2001. 64'Impala and Peace Treaty are two key tracks of the album and really back up the cali vibe that they are going for. I look forward to/hope these guys do another project together. |

"64' Impala" is a tight track but it's also the only good track on the entire album. "Reina De Barrio" has some played out hook with a guy trying to sound exactly like a Ne-Yo/Michael Jackson wannabe (as if there aren't enough clones already). Then on "Slash Gordan" Fashawn starts trying bite Drake's style "Ben Stiller" (just like every other rapper out that doesn't have any originality even though Fashon does) and by that time I'm ready to throw this POS album out the window. WEAK ALBUM!!! |

I hear a lot of the same cadences throughout the album. Not that the production is bad but I think that a different style could have brought out more of these two. That being said still gets a 4 since it is better than most |

Fashawn barley been doing this shit for 5 years and has 2 albums. So respect the legend |
