Most of Murs's other work I can't help but listen to it over and over. But this one seemed to fall short. One major thing is that he didnt have ANY living legends on his major label debut! Thats bull. Hate me if you want...not that good. |

He couldn't possibly comprehend the depth of a track like "the Science" or the cool out factor in "Me and this Jawn" or "So Comfortable". Sure there are a few missteps (hated "Lookin Fly") but overall there is a lot of substance and standout tracks on this album. I actually expected a much more "pop" sounding album due to the fact he signed to Atlantic. However, Murs did in fact "keep it real", I'm sure a couple of those tracks were merely to appease the label heads. Cant wait for the next one... |

Comment: I went in to listen to this album with low expectations and I honestly think this album is pretty good. I knew this was going to sound mainstream and I'm glad it has that West Coast feel to it. I also respect what Murs is trying to do with this album and that makes me down to support him. |

His lyrics are very good on the album, keepin' it real w/ himself as he's always done. Production could have been a tad better, but doesn't take away from the interest too much. Nothing tops Murs 3:16 and Murray's Revenge though. That Sooo Comfortable track bumps nice in tha ride! Support Real Hip Hop and cop this album! -1- |

Suprised "Better Than the Best" isn't on this but its still all good. Don't not buy it just because he's on a major record label, he's only doing that do make a point and make commercial hip hop better, which he will. In other words, HE DOESN'T NEED IT FOR MONEY. Think about it, he has his own hip hop festival every year. Good ablum though, lives up to hype |

He has the chance to make money, while still spitting the same real hip hop. Just cuz its a label that is well known, doesnt mean hes going to make all club jams. keep in mind dreadlocks - club. dirty girl (felt) - club. And ill quote him from z-trips albumn shifting gears "this is hip hop it's fucking fun." |

I also think he enjoys the money haha. |
