Item Summary
Though their career paths have always intertwined, Neek the Exotic and Large Professor's Still on the Hustle marks the first true collaboration in both legends' long, eclectic oeuvre. Large Professor earned his place in the pantheon of hip-hop heavyweights by founding Main Source and producing songs for Nas' Illmatic and Kool G Rap's Wanted Dead or Alive. It wasn't until he joined forces with Neek on 1992's White Men Can't Jump soundtrack that both artists were launched into the global spotlight. The remainder of the 90's and 2000's saw the two producer/MC's cementing their legacy in collaborations with equally big name artists, such as Pete Rock, Busta Rhymes, The X-Ecutioners, and Mobb Deep. Still on the Hustle, a culmination of ten years in utero, stands testament to the rich history, personal battles, and against-all-odds accomplishments that mark both mens' road to recording this soon-to-be classic album.

Comment: Neek ain't no fake thug, he's been in jail before for a long stretch and just raps about the life he leads and know. High quality production, they really are a great combo. Nice originality on the visual part as well.

Comment: This IS hip-hop! This will be on the tables for awhile. That 90s feel. Oh and e, try to form a complete sentence before attempting to diss. And if you don't understand this LP, it's not Neek's nor Pro's fault you would rather wear your girlfriends pants and bump some atmosqueer. Peeps that live the life know real from fake. Best shit of '11 by far.

Comment: this album is okay. I was expecting neek to take me to the next level especially after exotics raw. I mean that was just insane and if you step it up from that you would be on top of ny. but I still give it 4 stars because compared to other shit coming out it is still a banger. on exotics raw the beats were way way better and the lyrics were jumping.i think large pro was in the zone and distracted or something because the beats will put you to sleep

Comment: Personally, I'm happy to hear from Neek again cause frankly I wasn't expecting new material from him. His first album "Exotic's Raw" was a strong piece as well and also was heavily slept on. I hope people recognize this time. Oh yeah, a big shout out to LARS for speaking his mind on ughh and taking shit from people for all these years.
