Monch really doesnt have a good ear for beats but overall the album is decent nothing to brag about. Royce Da 5'9" had the best verse on the whole album!! Monch needs to holla at Apollo Brown, STatik Selektah, Jake One, IDE, Kno |

It is not bad, but not great...I think it will forgotten in years to come. Dope rhymes...Ok beats, A bit complex to the passive listener but the hard core fan will love this album. It will probably sell less than 150,000 copies. |

I never leave a comment until I bought the album or at least heard it played through many times, but... This album is too anticipated for me and came through with Pharoahe's flavor at it's best. Beyond expectations, which were very high after desire and internal affairs. Need to buy now! |

A little too clean sounding though, the beats could hit harder. The Exile beat on "Evolve" is nothing special. 3.5 stars. Lyricism is 5 stars, beats 3. |

At minimal listen, this should at least get a 4, Fam. After 2 or 3 listens, I expect bad opinions to eventually change. Dissin' this indeed demonstrates that our world have been poisened too long in this fast food generation. Cats need to understand this album's sound is supposed to be "punches to the gut." Listen to the lyrics and take in the production. The often stabby production lays that canvas. Wake the hell up people!!! |

"Internal Affairs" one of my favs and all the Organized material is legendary. Some of the beats on this project are a bit too much and noisy...but Pharoahe could rap to the sound of one hand clapping and still drop knowledge. One of, if not the GOAT!! |

I don't know who could hate on Monch, the man has been an underground killer for longer than most of us have been breathing. @Yer Pa: Man anyone who grew up with hip hop listened to Organized Konfusion and got the real from it. It's no wonder wy Technique and others would spit on his album; it's a huge honor. The man is legit real recongize real. |

However your argument is strong but don't forget the Freestyle Fellowship MCs especially Mikah 9 and Aceyalone (material not so good now.
Also as for Monch since 91? more like 87 with the classic old school debut single 'Memories of Love' |

While insignificant to this discussion, I do believe Pharoahe to be the best emcee ever, and I feel he truly is original, technically absurd, with the difficulty of rhyme schemes, and has been that way since 1991. He is an even mix of brilliant and dominant, with at times graphically CRAZY (padded room crazy), in order to portray widely known truth in a complete fresh way.
All praises due to the Mighty Pharoahe Monch. |
