Essentially this album is about rap, crack, gats and you ain't shit ni**a and if you don't like this shit I'll run up in your house a F your mouth.
Substance, like the substance found Black Milk's 365, is completely absent from this album.
We'll call it a market tool. |

I love when producers experiment and try to grow as artists with their sound, but black milk I just dont get what the outcome or purpose of this release. I do like 2 tracks on this (yes just 2) random call is fire and 4 in the box (which is pretty much a 1 minute track) hits hard, but the rest sounds like pots and pans dropping on the floor (i know thats pretty harsh) I know many out there enjoy this type of busy industrial sound but I still like my dusty soul funk in my tracks. Anyways just my opinion right, if u dig it then support it..piece |

Beats are cool, although I didnt think Black would stick with the Tronic Sound as much, I would love to hear GZA on Track 10 |

Honestly I was able to listen to each song without fast forwarding it so the only reason I give it 3 stars is because some of the lyrics wasn't that nice. It does grow on you though. Sean P and Guilty Simpson don't do anything amazing on the album but certainly do their part. All in all it's not classic but is surely a very enjoyable listen. |

This album is a real let down. I don't think I've ever felt more disappointed. Sean P sounds uncomfortable and compromised, Guilty sounds like he struggling to keep up and most of all Black Milk came with the lazy boring beats. I thought Black Milk was gonna come with the street hits but good god most of them sucked doo doo. |

I mean come on, SEAN P! & Guilty. Never been the biggest fan of Black Milk so his lack of effort was no real surprise. But jesus christ, SEAN P & Guilty, get nick wiz, premo, finesse, large pro, pete rock or some peeps on that caliber to do the beats. Could have some greatest of all time outcome with that. |

P is ridiculous. He and GS are a good mix of strength on lyrics. Black's production will improve with future efforts. It is no different than filling a b-ball team with superstars (a la Miami) and hoping they jibe before the season really picks up. It doesn't always happen right away. I will be rocking this for a minute though. This is a solid release. RiPIR is right. Listen again. It gets in your skin. No less than 4 Stars!!! |
